I beat your record by 2 days  Lodged 3/5/21 and got my email this morning!  I woke my teenagers up by playing the Aussie national anthem, they weren't impressed 

I'm in a state of shock, I was thinking 6 months and I'll be lucky. 

Childrens Citizenship by Descent took just over 2 weeks 

The Dept of Home Affairs website says 8 months for 75% of applicants, I submitted application from the UK on 3rd May and approval received today.  The best news ever and completely unexpected to have the answer so quickly.  

Hello, I would love to know if anyone has any examples of successful circumstances where kids are in Australia and father has remained in UK.

I'm an Aussie citizen and been divorced for 2 years, out of the blue my ex husband is now considering letting me move back to Australia with our 10 and 12 year old.  

Are any of you in the position of maintaining a relationship with your kids and father so far apart?
