congrats, 2 grants from August... I start to think they just ignoring mine, they even granted my colleagues from September and haven't even opened mine

You and me on the same boat I guess

I also have applied nomination and visa same time on 29 August nomination approved on 22 jan since there my visa status is further assessment but didn’t ask any document , wondering why immi put further assessment when they don’t need any?

@samiee There are lots of cases like yours and in fact many more people that have waited much longer. If you bored and wanted to see this (related to just this forum), you could go through old pages to read much longer cases.

Unfortunately, no one can tell you how long the exact process can take. I've seen (on this forum alone) a case from nomination approval take 1 day and another take longer than 2 years.
This is all case / application / CO related and there is no rule for exact timelines i'm afraid.

Best advise I can give is for you to hang in there, wait and keep the positive thinking going.

    Thankyou

Which is why I said "usually". Average processing times are just that - averages. But where someone has lodged a straight forward application that meets all the requirements, they will generally fall into the average processing times - or beat them.

    @NickB89

Bear in mind there are plenty of cases where this is not true, ie. nomination and visa do not have similar wait times and are not granted together. I had previously been led to believe this was true also, but found out the hard way that's not how it works!

Hi my nomination approved on 22 jan and since that visa status is further assessment , can anybody please tell me how many days or weeks or months most of the visa finalise after nomination approved?

    Hi everyone

I just got the golden email!

Have been a silent reader on this forum and found it a great source of encouragement. I went  through the 186 TRT stream and applied back on the 17/09/2019 and had it granted today on 30/01/2020, the full details are in the email signature.

I wish everyone the best of luck with theirs!

    Congratulation mate

btw what time immi close ?

    Hi,

It is almost 4 and half months after nomination and

nearly 3 months after last documents submitted,

so I think the time line varies considerably which depends solely on CO.

    Good luck for us

dont understand why they does that,

Did you talk with your MA ? What he said?

    Hi all,

After I upload all additional documents for their requirements for nomination application. Do I need to do anything to let them know I completed it? How long does it take to change status to "Further Assessment"

    Thanks

My nomination approve and visa straight went for further assessment , did not asked for document ,

    Congratulations on the nomination approval!

My advice would be to pretend it didn't happen... When my nomination was approved, I thought it meant my visa was on the way imminently. That was over 5 months ago and I've been stressed out about it ever since! Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones, and it'll come through soon 🤞 But if it's slow, it's a rough wait!

Hi how long have you been waiting for visa after approved nomination?

my case they did not asked for further documents so I am hoping I get my visa soon

  9. hi i have applied nomination and visa at the same time and nomination approve on 22 jan and visa status further assesement ,but they didnot asked any more documents , so i am little confuse why they didnot approve visa also at the same time with nomination instead of saying further assessement ? how many more days do i need to wait to get golden email?any ideas guys?
