Hold on, you are offshore and waiting for a visa for more than 2 years already?!
What your employer says about all this situation and how DOHA explains it?More than a month ago, DOHA made call to my employer's office and asked for the requirement of me as well as position vacancy; my employer confirms, he will be still happy to get me as all vacancies were not filled due to COVID.

They are prioritizing PMSOL occupations at the moment. 263111 is not on there so even if you were onshore it would take time (though you'd have bridging visa). My immigration lawyer (very reputed and knowledgeable) tells me they have seen offshore grants for PMSOL occupations. For employer sponsored, temporary visas which are on PMSOL and applied offshore, the turn around is 1 week if DFAT has granted travel exemption so for PR visas it should not be very different.
Hi,
Thanks for very detail information.
But throughout the time we have seen grants beyond PMSOL like Accountant, Uni Lecturer, recently Restaurant related occupations. I think the dept doesn’t follow any set rule/policy. Rather it depends on CO and luck. I made call to Inquiry svc, they confirmed me that only PMSOL applicants are processed, no others. But actually that's not correct information.
Regards

But even for me who is also waiting for the 186DE, I didn't have any update since the lodge.

My agent wore 3 mail as a reminder. No reply.
did any of you guys wore to immigration as a reminder??
My agent also wrote, but no reply. This is creating panic in mind and uncertainty in hope.
Opinion requested from experts of this forum, whether this delay signals unexpected/no grant decision?

As per my lawyer all new application ( recently lodged) getting results quickly 2-3 months visa grant.
old applications are in further assessment or investigation.
mine lodged in July 2019.
shows further assessment
what may be the future of those nomination approved in 2019 but still further assessment? Isn’t going too far from expectations

I just heard from my agent that immigration has requested confirmation from my employer of roel availability for coming 2 years. The nomination was approved over 2 years ago so makes sense they need this.
Our agent advised this usually is indicative of a decision when confirmation is received. Has anyone had this request and how long before you received a decision?
Dept asked for position availability ltr back in Jun 2020 and submitted by employer.
Though Lawyer told, this is usually the last requirement before being granted but still waiting. However, You be onshore, case may be different.

Visa : 186 DE
Nomination and Visa Applied - 7 Feb 2020
Onshore : Yes (I apply for my offshore spouse as well)
No. of applicants : 2
Role : Accountant (General)
Request for more information: 15 March 2020
The visa hasn’t been granted and I’m based in Sydney. Are there anyone who applied around the same time with same occupation?
Would you think the reason it is not granted is because my spouse is offshore?
Thanks!
Hey,
The visa is refused already or yet to grant/get decision?

I think some one mentioned earlier on this thread that it is better to re-do medicals and PCC only if requested by CO.
I also think so
