I have to state country and duration of stay. I sat last night until 3am going through my records again to make sure everything was correct. I had already provided the information when I first started working on my visa application.

I also have to provide a doctor's letter for my father in-law which is not a problem but I don't know why they want this as they should have enough information about myself but sure it's another hoop to jump.

I'm just so exhausted with the whole process and getting really down about it.

Mppc I'm with you on that one it is exhausting I have been worrying about what else they are going to ask for and how much longer this is going to be drawn out. With regards to the RFI they have just asked me for countries resided in which i understand as being which countries you have lived in and not just visited for leisure etc so i have just put down UK, I could be wrong but they are just so vague with what they actually require it is frustrating. Hopefully we hear back asap!

On the 309/100 one of the questions on the main form was asking what countries I had visited in the past ten years. I had to fill in the dates to and from and why I was visiting. It was a nightmare but I managed to complete it.

I vaguely remember that question on the application yeah, so I don't understand why they are asking again just seems unnecessary

Hey quick update I got another RFI asking for duration of all places visited from 2009 and dates, I actually am at the point that I just want to give up. I am so stressed out and it's just a horrific process to go through. 6 months waiting for another RFI.

    Mppc,

I had a similar RFI 2 days ago asking for a list of countries the sponsor had resided in over the last 10 years even though he has only lived in the UK since 2008, is that the same as what you got asked? Really hoping it is not asking for all countries went on holidays too as I doubt we will be able to remember them all!

How infuriating. Could I ask what they asked for?

I’m on similar timelines, (applied 29/1) with a RFI for just Husbands OZ police check in July.

I was Really hoping that would be it.

    Fingers crossed you hear soon.

    Hi Corkie

They wanted a list of countries where the sponsor (my husband) had resided for the last 10 years. I found this a bit confusing as he has visited lots of places for holidays and work but only resided in the UK so not sure what they are after exactly. Hoping I don't get put to the back of the queue again! I'm sure you will hear very soon then as I applied 21st Jan, good luck xx

    Hi Scotmeetssyd,

So, I have just checked and within my husband's account, the sponsor (me) document section is showing no documents uploaded.  I'm sure there were at least 30 in there.  I called Department of Home Affairs and they have advised to re-upload, which I have just done.  Don't know what has caused it....happy that I had logged in to upload extra docs and noticed.  Is yours still frozen for uploads?

Hi wondering if anyone else has experienced this also....after my RFI a few months ago and status at further assessment my sponsors document attachment section on immi seems to have been frozen, i cant attach any more documents there and previous ones attached have now disappeared? Now worried they havent received previous attachments for the sponsor 😞

    Hi Baloosy

Thank you for your reply good to know someone else has the same problem! I have just had to re upload to the "other documents" section as all the sections i had uploaded to have completely disappeared too! Im hoping i dont get another RFI for things i have previously uploaded and now disappeared therefore drawing out this long process even further 😞 so stressful.

  6. Hi All

We applied for the 309/100 on 21st January 2019, i had a RFI on 14th May for medical check and husbands birth cert and police certs which they gave me 28 days to upload. The Aussie police check took 6 weeks to reach us in uk! So i was late in uploading on 25th June. I also uploaded my police check at the same time to hopefully save any further RFI's even though it waa not requsted. Current application status is "Further Assessment" Hoping for a grant soon!
