  1. Hi Guys ,

So we also received our grant yesterday! (We applied 30th Dec 2018)

Strangely, we were already on our way to Melbourne from London just on a tourist visa and whilst we had stopped in Singapore to catch the onward flight we received the grant email!

I nearly didn't even see it as I scanned my emails but missed it. Only when my partner asked if any important emails had come through just as we were about to board the flight, I double check and saw it!

Hang in there all as Jan/Feb grants must be on there way very soon now. Good luck all and Take Care

Hi all, even though I've had mine granted and been living in Australia for 2 weeks now...I still like to see how things are moving along and if certain ones have been processed yet.
It's been a public holiday here today so you may not here much for a few days.
Anyway myself and @roobaby are settling in to our new house really well, dogs and cat are here kids start school next week...
Horses arrived too us yesterday, but unfortunately while in quarantine we lost a main feature Stallion..so as you may guess very upsetting but we have to pick ourselves up and make sure the other 4, ponies are happy and healthy.
Anyway I am fingers and toes crossed for you guys, and any of you moving to the NSW state you will love it ....so good luck and keep the faith xxx

Hi Steppy, I'm so sorry to hear that about your Stallion!! Can I ask what happened to him?

Glad all the other animals are fine...

I think our timelines are quite similar, but we're still waiting for our golden ticket!! Haven't heard a peep since our RFI on 22nd May!

Hi @KFR, I arrived 5 weeks ago with a one way ticket. I was nervous coming through customs but I didn't get stopped. I made sure I had enough money cash with me and in my account to prove if needed or when my visa hopefully gets approved I can get a flight out. I brought a personal file with visa details too so that I could show if stopped.

Yea cool no worries. I was thinking it would be something like that. Make sure my partner has bank statements showing cash in bank accounts etc.

  4. Gongrats guys on your approvals!!! SO exciting.

I wanted to ask anyone who's entered Australia on a tourist visa while waiting for the 309/100 approval:

    a) Did you only book a one way ticket? with no return flight and if so;

    b) what were the immirgration officers like when you entered?

Did they grill you on only having a one way ticket? I do think it will be down to the specific officer you get possibly?

  5. Hi All - question for those of you who have had your visa approved....Did you have to send your passport off? We read somewhere that you have to send your passport off for them to stamp your passport? Just wanted to know if this was the case from people who have already had their 309/100 visa approved. Thank you!

    Hi all,

I submitted my 309/100 in early April 2019 in London. Submitted police checks and evidence in April but haven’t submitted health checks.

Has anyone heard anything from submitting in London? No update from me.

We applied 30th December, and were RFi'd 23.05.2019, but haven't heard anything since! There seems to be a few of us that were RFI'd in May and waiting on that golden ticket!! Good Luck to everyone!! Hopefully we'll get some grants or RFI's this week! Let us know if anyone hears anything xx

  7. Hi all – we’re still waiting for our approval, but we’ve decided to crack on with the move anyway. We’ve given Petair a date of 31.10.2019 for our baby boy (Rajjie) to fly over, and we’re going to try and be on the same flight as him. Just waiting to hear if Petair have the availability for him. We figure that the visa should hopefully come in the next 3 months, and if it doesn’t, my partner will enter on a 3 month tourist visa. Once Rajjie has spent his 10 days in quarantine in Melbourne, we’re hiring a campervan and driving to Perth, making a little holiday of it. So with the 3 months till we leave UK and the 3 months on the tourist visa, that gives us 6 months for the 309 to come which I’m pretty sure it will…well fingers crossed anyway. It’s now been 7 months since we applied and we just wanna get moving! So once Petair confirm their availability, it’s time to get things moving!

Processing times have gone up today by a month probably due to the lack of any grants this month! I'm sick of logging in to check 😂 I feel like it's becoming slightly obsessive!

I feel like it's now just a normal part of everyone's morning routine. Get up, have a coffe, have a shower, check the immi account! Good to see activity with some RFi's as well. Means they haven't forgotten about us!

  9. Hi everyone, thought we'd add our timeline to the convo as we're anxiously awaiting our approval. We applied for our 309/100 visa on 30/12/2018. All police checks and medicals uploaded by 11/05/2019. RFI'd on 23/05/2019 for my (sponsor) Aussie birth certificate and proof that one of my parents were an Australian Citizen at the time of my birth (which they were). Sent those two documents off the following day, and now we're waiting for the grant! Like some others on here, according to our calculations on trends, we were thinking that we're due for a grant about 1 month and a few days after our RFI.

We've been together for 5 years, not married but own a property together. We're flying our English Bulldog over as well, so really want to get the ball rolling and get over there already!

We're moving to Perth which is where I'm from. We applied from London and didn't use an agent.

If anyone has any advice or words of support when it comes to their dog flying over, we'd love to here them! Think that's gotta be the scariest part, our little pooch flying on his own and then 10 days in Melbourne!

    Lodge: 30/12/2018

Medical and Police Checks uploaded: 11/05/2019

    RFI: 23/05/2019

    Hoping to get going October/November
