38 days since they requested info from me (31 days since I submitted it)...... Still patiently waiting [emoji2309] *refresh *it takes anything from 1 week to 6 weeks on average after submission of document. -
My request for more information is from Team 12 [emoji848]Ok, i went to look at the old email with the invitation to comment nomination refusal and the subject starts with "Team 01- IMMI Invitation etc.. etc... "
Any idea what Team 01 is?

Hi guys, Im holding 457 grantfathering visa and I have recently changed my employer and i had work with former employer 2 years and 9 months. So I would like to apply 186 ens visa as an hairdresser but its not on the list .. is there any chance that can be back again in july? Or as a grantfathering 457 visa it shouldnt effect us.. I am bit confused with that.. any ideas?
if you've changed employer you'll have to get your 457 transferred to that new employer and then your 2 years probation before applying for the 186 ENS will start all over again.

I am a project manager for a medium sized joinery company in Melbourne specialising in office fitouts and domestic kitchens. Great company, mostly run by expats. They sponsored me and I am currently waiting for my PR to come through.
We are always on the lookout for keen and enthusiastic cabinet makers or joinery installers. Company is a registered sponsor so sponsorship would be an option to the right candidates.
Slide into my DM's for more info.

Great to see another Chippy
Check out details in my signature where a request for licencing has slowed us down. CO requested proof of licencing/registration which is not required in WA. And now we're back in the pile
Hopefully yours isn't far off!
I received a request for more information yesterday.
They've asked me for:
A new AFP check because mine had expired, more information on a criminal charge from the UK and a licence which i too don't think is required here in VIC either!? let me know if you hear anything back . i am waiting to hear back form my MA, will let you know how we proceed.

@ScottK So does that mean that the new company sponsored you (by means of re-application), or did you simply not inform Immi and wait for them to review the application?
- Do you still work at the company that was sold?Doesn't a company that's sold and bought change ABN numbers?
Hi @Hex
I was originally sponsored by company A, they sold and it was taken over by company B. My visa agent arranged for my 457 to be transferred to the new company (they also had to register as a new sponsor). Yes ABN number had changed so when my nomination and visa were submitted we had to prove that both companies were effectively the same company and nothing had changed. Still doing the same work from the same place of business for the same clients with the same staff etc. My MA did a lot of back and forth with company B to gather up all the required information.

Silent, avid reader for a very long time now with good news! (Finally)
Pretty complicated process due to sponsorship in a niche role by a very small company (5 workers), with changes in Directors/ABN mid way through first 457.
Finally received Nomination and Visa grant on Friday 10th.
Signature updated below.
This is a very tough test for most, don't ever give up the chase. "Rest, never stop!"
Great forum with some amazing members. Thank you!
THE MARATHON CONTINUES
Very similar situation to mine. my boss sold the company halfway through my 2 years. so i was concerned about my nomination but after a long 10+ months my nomination was granted on Friday!! hoping my visa grant isn't far behind!
