Thank you everyone! I was literally sobbing (happy tears!!) this morning when I got the news!

YOU GUYS!!!! After hearing literally nothing from immi throughout this whole process we got our grant today!!! Which makes me think I should have just hurried up and done my medical ages ago....

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add my application timeline to the footer of my posts like you all have. Help please!!!

We’ve used an agent who said that going overboard on the docs would just delay matters and irritate the case worker. He narrowed the documents we should be providing to important ones like our lease, joint bank statements, joint bills, etc. We also enclosed some photos, invitations to both of us, etc. We probably uploaded about 2 dozen docs altogether? 

We uploaded both our police checks in January and I’m due to go for my medical check on Monday so I wonder whether they are waiting for that before doing anything? 

Congratulations to everyone who has received their grants this week! That makes me both hopeful but also worried as I applied on 16/10/18 but haven’t received an RFI or anything yet

Is anyone else having a similar experience? 

Hi All! I applied for a 309 mid October 2018 based on a de facto relationship (my partner and I had been living together for 16 months and together for about 2 years at the time we submitted the application) but have yet to hear anything. I’ve used a migration agent and they haven’t yet received confirmation that my application has even been sent to a caseworker. 

Wondered whether anyone else was in the same boat? We’ve booked one way tickets for end of November so have heaps of time, but the waiting is awful!
