Does it matter if secondary applicant offshore ??

i added my wife in my visa application straight after AAT approved

During this Covid time immigration delay to process the application specially for offshore applicants? It’s just an excuse by the department.

    Hi @WelderGuy5

I am following this blog for long time, I know your nomination was approved but why immigration is taking long time to give you visa? Is anyone with you in your application offshore? Could you please mention any information?
Mine is in AAT since June 2019. Still waiting, don’t see any hope

    Hey Leticia

They are just lingering on at the moment mighty excuse is COVID.  Don't even opening straight cases which are Nomination approved way back. My agent had raised plenty of complaints about processing but deaf ears. No response but they say that previously u raised issue on blah blah date. Don't push again n again. But no resolution on that complaint. Bit rude at the moment.

    Hi Mate

I need your help to understand one thing. Since my case is still in AAT for review, my employer nomination and visa refusal, once I will win the case from AAT and when AAT process back to Immigration for consideration, will Immigration start the process from the beginning and consider my case processing time with the current processing time of Immigration Global Visa Processing Time? Right now it’s showing 35 to 40 months time.

    Hi Samio.

what’s happened with your visa? Could you share here to us ? What did the agent do?

and could you share about this 491 visa?
    thanks

Currently I’m struggling with the AAT process as it’s already 20 months for me but since the entire process of PR will take another 2 years time, my nominated business might gonna up for sale after this year.
so as a Retail Manager I’m looking for other options including Business investment 491 visa. Which I found it’s only in Queensland and Tasmania. Would be helpful if anyone knows a good agent in Brisbane.
    Thanks

    Dear,

the definition of good migration agent is changes person to person when you get your results positive, they are good otherwise not, what the worse problem I have found with the immigration agents is the communication gap, mostly do not bother to communicate with their client's ones you have paid them, and they have lodged your file, and you have to call multiple time or send enormous emails to get the answer of your one question. We as clients rely on them, thinking as our future is in their hands to represent our application to immi, and let us know all the loopholes to not get rejected for silly reasons, and unfortunately, most of the agent does not think our application as more than another sale of their financial year to show on their P & L.

My apology, I have not given you a suitable answer, rather a long speech

I know and I’m in the worst situation at the moment just because of my bloody migration agent. But now I’m looking for different options specially Business Investment in 491 visa. Since very soon I’m flying to Brisbane for my holiday so I’m looking for a good agent who can help me with some information.
if anyone can help me out would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I do not think the state matter with the cases of AAT, as its a federal thing.

still, I am happy to share, I am in Qld and my occupation is computer Network and System Engineer.

My Agent said processing time varries based on the state. Anyway mate, thanks for your reply. Hope we will get through this soon.

Hi Samio, Could you please share some information about what documents we need and through which assessment body we can get our Assessment done?

Vetassess. You will find all the  details if you browse under Retail Manager occupation. Thanks

    Dear Friends

First of all sorry for the off topic but if anyone can help me in this case would be much appreciated.

I’m one of the regular visitor in this blog. Recently my 187 nomination refusal is under AAT. However, I already have positive skill assessment from vetassess as a Retail Manager. And I’m working in a newsagency for 4 years (Retail Manager).

My question is in future if my case is fail or business sold by the time, can I move to Tasmania and apply for 491 visa catagory number 5, Small Business Owner?

Do I have to be under Tasmania Skill Occupation list? As my occupation belong to Retail Manager. And it’s not in Tasmanian or federal government skill list unless 494.

Please advice me with this two questions. It will be really helpful.

     Thanks in advance
