Does anyone have any experience with filling in a form 1023? I am currently approved as a PR but just found out I was born with a different name and it was changed before I went to school. I would like to inform the immi as soon as possible so I have sent for copies of my birth certificate and deed pole papers with will show the paper trail.
Does anyone know what the chances of my 186 being revoked are?

This must have come up with your PR application surely? You have to submit your birth certificate for that and evidence for any name changes since.
Same for Citizenship.
Nope, you just need a passport for that.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew what evidence you need to progress from PR to citizenship? I was recently made aware that my name was changed when I was a baby so my actual birth certificate is in a different name but I have never mentioned it previously as I was not aware. Do I need to submit my birth certificate?
thanks

Hi Guys,
Great news, IMMI seem to be getting their house in order.
We received our "Golden" email today - 24/05/2019. 13 days from nomination to Approval with a 5 day break for the Medicals to be processed.
I completed my application myself and my company used an MA. I hope that I can stick around and offer advice to and one that needs it.
Good Luck to you all, this forum was very helpful.

So since I provided further information in mid April I've heard nothing but on my immi account it shows as last updated 16th May 19.
Anyone else had anything like this?
Yeah 17th for me.

Technician gets minimum 80K
I do think it depends on the job and the role but to put it into perspective I work for a large engineering consultant that doesn’t pay very well and our graduates start circa $62000 plus super.

Hi
Does anybody know if $60000 is a reasonable salary for an engineer with 5 years of experience or not?
No, 5 years should be 110k+ minimum in my experience

@Rik9 3 days from lodgement to nomination approval. By far the quickest I've even seen.
You must have got something right!
Yeah I hope so and 2 of those days were the weekend. I just wish I had done my medical before the initial assessment - It could have been a 3day 186 approval.

Unfortunately, you can't import your Nomination into your Immi account to check, so you'll have to wait for the MA to tell you, sorry! It's a bit strange (but not unheard of) that the application is being looked at before the Nomination but hopefully it's a sign that your case is being looked at either way! Best of luck!
Hi Joanne,
I received an update that the Nomination was approved May 14, 2019. My migration agent said that they have never had a nomination approved that quickly so hopefully it means good things for the Visa application itself.

Congratulations!!
Has your Nomination been approved? If so, what date? Medicals are part of the Application, which tends to be processed after the Nomination is approved.
Hi,
Sorry I don't know if my nomination has been approved. My companies MA says it is pending but they haven't been the fastest and uploading information to their portal.
Do you know if I can check independently?

Hi Rik,
I applied as a secondary applicant on my partner's 186 visa. We didn't submit any documents confirming my dependency on my partner. I have a full-time job and fully supporting myself. We don't even have a joint bank account.
I provided a few documents proving our de facto relationship: photos, joint lease agreement, transfers between bank account to each other (eg, I'm paying for all of the bills, so I just sent our MA screenshots from my bank account showing that my partner did transfers), itineraries for travelling, etc.
Hope this helps.
It does thank you. I realise that although we are engaged I should have selected deface relationship. I just hope we upload enough information

Hi,
I am totally new to the application process so please forgive me if this has been answered somewhere else.
Currently I am on a 457 visa and my employer has agreed to sponsor me for PR through the 186 ENS. Myself and my fiancé are included on my current visa and due to the nature of the 457 partner visa my fiancé has also managed to secure a job.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to prove dependency of and what type of evidence should be submitted if she is not financially dependent on me due to her employment. Now I understand that the only reason she can work is due to her position on my visa so I plan to submit the 457's as evidence as well as rental agreements and relationship proof but I keep coming back to dependency. Is it really that important to the CO's that the joint applicant is dependent? Surly it is better that they are working and paying taxes into the system.
Same question for proving that she is a member of my family unit, there is only us in our family unit and these questions seem more to do with a child as opposed to my fiancé.
Any help would be greatly appriciated

Cheers @Hex. That was my thought too, I will just let them know as soon as I have the formal paperwork.
