TRT visas seems to be approved way quicker than DE, seems to have quicker estimated processing times.

Just wondering if anyone who has applied DE is same timelines with our applications? Or how many months has it been before approved?

Not always,  my application is trt, sharing almost same timeline with yours, my application is still in further assessment from 29/07/19 after I submitted my wife's AFP, (previous name missing). I do believe that is a matter of luck, it seems that some CO's taking things seriously and others just time...

    Hi @Vee Shah

28 days is not the maximum time frame - that is just the deadline you have to provide the additional docs/info requested.  As some n this forum are >28 days and still are waiting for CO to open application again.  Others however can be 28 days or less than 28 days.  Its really the case of "how long is a piece of string" 😂

Sometimes Nomination and Application are simultaneously approved - but not always the case.

No worries,  I've been requested no 17 July,  uploaded on 29 july, today is the second of September,  I think I might be over the deadline,  but still no answer from CO..

  3. Just wanted to share my feelings,  nomination approved on May 24, my wife's afp requested on July 17 uploaded on July 29. It's 30th of August,  more than a month after I submitted my afp still waiting for someone to check my application,  that absorbs all of my self,  it's upsetting and depressing and I can't help it... is anyone else in the same situation and if yes how do you fight anxiety

Am I the only one in this forum that applied in February 2019 and didn’t received any news yet??😭😭😭😭

Have some mercy mate, there are people here still waiting from end 2017 start 2018, I am waiting almost 13 months... it's not just a silly number, the processing times are clearly 12-16 months, I know it's a long wait but that's what the most of us going through...

    Hi All,

I got my visa today. My case was bit complicated because  First CO asked me on 27 may ship clearance certificate which already uploaded (different wording) and police clearance certificate from a country (company correspondence office) where I never visited or stayed. I was employed by company Italian office. Furthermore, second CO asked same documents on 19 July (Not sure if he had a look on my uploaded documents). My MA got upset and he has to write a letter explaining what they're asking are uploaded. Today morning at 11, I called to IMMI customers care (131881)and explained my situation. Person from other side of phone understand and he told me that he will do his best to help me out. Around 3. 30pm 3rd CO call my MA and MA explained everything. Within 5 minutes my PR granted. Thank you everyone for helping me out. @Hex@Hex you are doing great work on this form.

Congratulations mate, I am still on the line,  your approval gave me hope,  wish me luck for a quick outcome

If you don't know, I tell you they might process your wife's afp in one day as it happen with my wife' afp.

Thanks mate, I just can't understand why it took them so long to request the afp,  it's just depressing...

  9. Me too, my nomination approved on the same day,  24/05 no further documents requested,  still status received... that is killing me, I hope they are not going to request after 2 months first even though I have Everything submitted with the application..
