hey mates , glad to see grants comming !!!

I had applied and then withdrew the sponsorship/visa file for my ex-wife(relationship only lasted 2 months)

then I got married again and filed her 309 visa , in my 40SP form , I have mentioned i did a "Sponsorship/Nomination" and that no Visa was granted.

Is that OK or can cause any issues? As I see they meant "Sponsorship/Nomination" means when a Visa was actually granted , in my case it wasn't , still i said I have mentioned Sponsored/Nominated 1 Time , any issue?

I have mentioned in the same 40SP in Additional info that no Visa was granted etc , and also mentioned the same on my Written Signed Statement and a Stat Dec too

    Thanks

As per my knowledge, if your ex-wife was not granted a visa and you withdrew your sponsorship before that, then it is not a problem (wait period between 2 sponsorship does not apply in this case). But you must have to declare your previous marriage which you already have done.  All the best.

Can you please confirm your country of lodgement (my apologies if you have already shared that info.) ? Do you have different rituals/customs rather standard ones? (please dont answer this if you feel that it is a bit personal questions. Just asking as they asked you about brief description of that.)

    Asking for a dear friend

how long does it take if immigration sends documents to the delegation for decision finalising . A friend of mine has emailed about her Application status and received this as a reply .. So I thought I’d ask here to see if anyone received such email in the past

Her case is of second marriage no kids yet, provided sufficient proofs, DOL MAY 15th 2018 , generics and interviews taken , applies via agent

    Dear MrsHzp

Can you please share further dates for this case? (generic email, interview dates). My case is similar but we have not sent email to check the status (it is my husband's second marriage - no kids). It has been more than 2 months since interview and have not heard back anything from them.

That would be really helpful if you could please provide some more dates.

    Kind Regards

Maham I just know few things so to help everyone here

they filed in May 2018 ( second half ) not sure exactly whether it was 11th or 12th

they then received first generic in November 28th 2018

then a second email for specific documentation in February 13th 2019

Then complete silence ( no emails and calls )

and today they received the grant ( April 1st 2019 )

Congrats to them and thanks for sharing the news 🙂

I don't know, but there might be two complexities in my case. However I don't consider both of them as a complexity for a reason. Anyways, these could be:

    1) Age difference between me and my wife. Which is over 10 years. CO might raise this question why so much difference? Although it is normal in my family and my wife's family.

    2) I had previous marriage and a child from that marriage. But I never sponsored my ex-wife and my child is with my ex-wife. Also my date of divorce and 2nd marriage date do not overlap. I provided all these details with evidences along with my application (40SP/47SP).

    Thanks.

    Lilly.

    Hi Lilly

Really appreciate you shared about your case. I don't think age difference is an issue.

Regarding your previous marriage, if you have disclosed that to immigration and she was never sponsored, again it should not be an issue. Is there any court case with your ex-wife / child custody related etc pending in court?  (if you don't want to answer this , please don't. I understand that it is a bit personal question). I am just curious why it is taking so long for you.

    Best Regards

    Hi all.

The PCC (Pakistan) of applicant is going to expire by 29 April 2019, whereas 14 months waiting will be completed on 24 April 2019.

Do we go to make new PCC after the old one expires or wait for CO to request a new one?

Just trying to save time, as what I know PCC takes time to come probably 2 weeks at minimum.

    Thanks.

    Lilly.

Hi Lilly, I can understand how difficult it must be to wait for so long. Hope you get visa grant soon.

On average, Pakistani applications have been processed in 10 months. Can you please share if there is any complexity in your case or it is straightforward case? That would be really helpful if you could share a bit of detail about your case (ofcourse don't share anything which is confidential or if you don't feel comfortable in sharing).

    Wish you all the best.

Why no ones getting grants here? I guess last month someone got a grant here since then nothing. This is frustrating. During nov dec 2018, there were so many grants but what’s happening now! This waiting thing is really difficult

Yes that's what I am wondering. Please everyone if you are aware of visa grants with rough timeline of someone else who is not on this forum, share with us. And of course do share yours as well if you have received visa grant 🙂  (but I am assuming, you had already done it if you had received grant).

  10. Hello everyone. Any update on April 2018 applicants? It seems no May/June 2018 applicant has received grant so far (unless they have not updated on this forum). I checked previous posts in this thread and there were few who had April 2018 DOL but they suddenly disappeared. I think once people get visa grant, they don't bother to come back to this forum and update about their visa grant 🙂  (which makes sense).

I would appreciate if April 2018 applicants could share their timeline? (by the way my DOL is end of May 2018)

    Best Regards

    Hey

    best wishes

Please let us know the interview questions that were asked

    thanks Tc

    Hi. Thanks MrsHzp 🙂

They asked generic questions like name, date of birth, husband full name, what does he do, how we met, some clarification questions (related to financial dependencies we mentioned in application), if my husband visited since he left (I am sure they should already know), our future plans etc. Just be calm and don't panic.

Thank you everyone who replied to my post. I understand that my decision can come anytime and there is official timeline of 14 to 19 months. I just want to know how long it took for anyone in this forum after interview to get decision? To get an idea of estimated wait after interview. That really helps as for example though official timeframe tells 14 to 19 months but we have an idea that straight forward cases from Pakistan are usually taking 9 to 10 months to get grant.

    Kind Regards

  12. Hello all,

Can anyone please share how long it takes to get visa grant / decision after phone interview? That would be really helpful if May/June 2018 applicants post their interview dates and if anyone got visa grant? I applied from Pakistan and my timelines are:

    • Application lodged : 24 May 2018
    • Generic Email: 14 Dec 2018
    • Additional Docs Submitted: 26 Dec 2018
    • Interview Call: 6 Feb 2019 (asked for few more docs)
    • Submitted additional docs: 15 Mar 2019
    • No response yet

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards

    Mrs. Saeed
