i just wanted to say couple of things over here ...

Dr.samra , Kina Sa : Yes its a good idea to contact the local MP if your husband/yourself is in Australia as couple of years ago a friend of mine had same problem with his PR. he waited for 2/3 years while normal processing time was 6 months and he contacted the local MP and she assured to help him out. after 10/15 days he got the visa straight ... he was informed later his case went to ASIS check thats why it took so long.. and its true they send some random cases to ASIS .. and they took fkn long to process.

In my experience people who have applied through migration agent it took them very long to get the visa then the ones who applied by them selves .. it might be because of the fraud level they experience via migration agents specially from sub continent.

lastly do not be afraid of sending them email now and then to ask them the progress. they will definitely reply though it will be some thing trivial like we are doing check this and that... but still its a good idea to get your case out from the stack (thats what i think).

My Nikah was in March 2018 and got married by the end of December, and yeah it was pretty straight forward. I provided them every thing, honey moon , umra photos and all this and that in January  ..

In 2nd email she asked me for Nadra nikah nama and chat history which i provided on second day . did uploaded it previously but i guess it was not in right sections.

Hey Guys 

Good News .. My wife got visa today.

DOL : 11 June 2018.

First email : 13th December 

2nd Email : 14th March 

No interview .. 

i emailed immigration today to ask for visa status as i was planning to visit Pakistan from 21st April - 05th May and at around 9 AEST got grant email.. 

My advice .. be understanding to them when u email and be nice ..

Hope all of u will get grant soon

Exactly same time line ... only received Generic email on 17th December .. and all documents submitted on 4th Jan...

Time line for my wife is :

DL : 12th June, 2018

Medicals : 26th July

Email to Upload further docs : 17th December

Documents Uploaded : 6th January ...

Did not heard any thing from them after that. If any one else is going through same phase please post you experience and if possible timeline as well...
