Visa Granted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot actually believed it has happened!!!  But it definitely has!!

For anyone who had their nomination and visa picked up by a CO at the same time and an S56 issued on both at the same time, did your nom and visa get approved together?

Here’s my timeline for those interested:

- 186 TRT (grandfathering) nomination and application: September/October 2018

- Received the famous email on the 4th of April

- Done the Medicals straight after the email

- Some docs were requested to my company at the end of May (don’t know what they asked for but my MA said it was the usual stuff and everything looked good)

- At the same time I have been updating my police checks, payslips, etc. in order to keep my application decision-ready

- Both nomination and application have been approved today 15 of July

I would recommend to keep your files up to date proactively. If they will expire soon, update them. This may or may not speed up the process, no one really knows but the fact that both my nomination and application were approved at the same time would make me think that it did help speeding up the process.

Hi, just out of interest, how long between the nomination being approved and the visa being granted?  I know its the same day but was it simultaneous or different times of the day.  Asking as our nom was approved today.  Thanks 

Silver email received today!!!!  Fingers crossed the visa will follow soon!!! 

Still waiting too . S56 on 20/5 and docs uploaded by 31/5.  It is killing me!

Congratulations!!!  We received S56 on the 20th May so I really hope we hear something soon too!!  

I don’t have a team number on my S56 letter. Anyone else??

I was just curious to see if anyone else was in the same boat as me as its not the usual way of doing things.

Anyway everything has been submitted so will just have to wait and see.

We are in the same boat. Nom and Visa were picked up together on the 20th May. Further docs required for both at the same time and uploaded on the 30/5. Still further assessment and the wait is torture!!! Hoping that they both get looked at together and granted at the same time!!

@amandat This has been answered so many times on this forum, I think you would only need to go back a few pages to see similar questions / answers. 

In short, the average we've seen on this forum is 30-40 working days, however, there have been cases whereby the CO got back to the client within 1 day, then others where they are still waiting (much longer than 40 days). 

Hope for the best and expect the worst, that way you won't be disappointed.

So we have today had a case officer allocated and received a request for further information for both nomination and visa!!!

The million dollar question that everyone wants to know - how long after we send off all outstanding info are we likely to receive our visa???

Visa and nomination approved on the 3rd of April 2019

No further documents requested. One day you simply receive an email from your MA saying congrats and that's it, your life is forever changed. I keep checking my vevo app thinking it's not real.

We submitted our 186 DE in Oct 2018. 

I’m curious to see if people think applications where the skilled levy was payable will be processed quicker?
