Hi all. I did my test 19 December and got approved 20 mins after the test. Now I am waiting for my ceremony. I was wondering how long is going to take to get the invitation for the ceremony? Do they normally send the letter 2~3weeks before? I really want to do on Australia day. Thanks!

I and my husband received the invitation letter today. It happened so faster than we expected! We've been worried so much as we are on 187 visa since 3/9/2019 and I am not with my employer anymore. They closed the business the end of March (only worked for them 6month after 187 visa approved)
I tried to reschedule our test date online but it turned out we couldn't. I think because of covid-19 situation. So we are going to do our test the day they asked for.

ImmiAccount does not provide any ongoing update on processing such as when a case officer is allocated. It will simply show the status as lodged.
Thanks for detail information

You can check your application status via immiaccount.

Evidence of functional English language ability
All applicants (other than an applicant who has been nominated as a Minister of Religion
by a religious institution or a member of the family unit of that person) aged 18 or over are required to demonstrate that they have functional English or pay the second instalment of the visa application charge. Provide one of the following items of evidence:
1 evidence the applicant achieved an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) average band score of at least 4.5 based on the four test components of speaking, reading, writing and listening in a test conducted not more than 12 months before lodging the visa application or at the time of processing the visa application
2 evidence the applicant achieved a Test of English as a Foreign Language internet- based test (TOEFL iBT) total band score of at least 32 based on the four components of speaking, reading, writing and listening in a test conducted not more than 12 months before lodging the relevant application to migrate or at the time of processing the relevant application to migrate
3 evidence the applicant achieved a Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic test overall band score of at least 30 based on the four test components of speaking, reading, writing and listening in a test conducted not more than 12 months before lodging the relevant application to migrate or at the time of processing the relevant application to migrate
4 Results of a Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test conducted from 1 January 2015 in which you obtained an overall band score of at least 147 across the four test components
5 evidence the applicant holds an award (being a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate) that required at least two years full time study or training and all instruction (including instruction received in other courses for which the applicant was allowed credit) for that award was conducted in English

9 evidence the applicant has been assessed as having functional English by an Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP) provider..I am just telling you based on my experience. It’s overall 4.5
I have never been smart I don’t understand why you are upset about this

I want to share good news with you guys, finally after 24 months I have received my golden email on 16/05/19.
RCB: 17/04/17
Nomination: 14/05/17
Visa: 16/05/17
Nomination approval: 20/02/19 (no request)
S56: 20/02/19 updated health checks and police checks
requested docs submitted on 08/03/19
S56 second request: 28/03/19 English test and again AFP (IELTS score as officer mentioned it has expired they require new ones, my MA sent an email to DOHA that according to legislation applicant only requires competent English at the time of submission. As expected no reply received from department I rushed to appear for IELTS, I sat for L/R/W but same day we gotta reply from Department that they don’t require IELTS but what’s a point I already paid for an exam and you can imagine the trauma I was carrying out).
Anyways another S56 (i was like seriously)- 08/04/19 now they want me to send PCC for New Zealand (as I declared on my application I visited twice for less than 20 days in total because my wife is from NZ, as far as I know about current legislation you must submit PCC if you have lived in a country for more than 90 days. Any how I contacted Ministry of Justice NZ about police check they processed my request same day without any charge. How helpful are they!
Submitted NZ PCC on 09/04/19
finally after good 24 months I received great news! Remember my submission date? (16/05/17) PR granted on 16/05/17.
Country: HR
Occupation: Community Worker
State: WA
Processing team: Team 07 WA (4 case officers)
Organisation: Non-profit
organisation sponsored 10+ employees for 187
All nominations approved same day on 20/02/19 therefore, 3 employees received grant notices.
Immigration visited and did detail inquiry about the business, genuine need and duties of each employee.
My personal experience with immigration is not great as I have seen some people applied after me received decisions 2-3 months earlier than mine, which confirms DOHA do not have a transparent and straightforward mechanism.
My dear friends let me tell you how hard I waited for this grant, I used to check Immi account at least three times a day but there were days when I wanted to withdraw my application because of processing time. As we all know 187 is all about waiting game and I am sure many of you have families (kids etc) this waiting is creating more and more stress everyday but again enjoy your life with your family we don’t know what’s gonna happen tomorrow.
Never doubt your abilities for a moment in life...Wish you good luck and ALL THE BEST!!!
Congratulations!!!!

Your salary looks absolutely fine.
Thanks.
Probably I was lucky. Now should be at least 53,900..

I applied 187 visa 27/02/18
rcb approved 17/05/18
Still waiting for nomination and visa application approval.
I’m concerned about the level of salary since market salary was set 53,900 from the March 2018. I am offered 52,000, occupation is chef. Ive been working with this company since November 2017.
Some people say that salary is okay because I applied before March while my agent says she thinks it is okay but not 100% sure.
I dont know about my company’s turnover but it’s a pretty big winery which owned 3 restaurant at the same area. My agent said financial situation was very good but she didn’t tell how much. Waiting game is killing me..
any advice ?
Thanks
