Thanks much. CO called me on 2nd july and asked me to upload passport again. Got visa granted next morning.

Btw I was looking at some other Facebook groups for 309 visas. And I'm noticing that many over there are also getting visas before the financial year end.

Nop.we uploaded everything on time. Had my interview on Feb. The estimated processing time is 13-19 months.

He got his biometrics done in April... it said in the letter to take polio certificate but the biometrics people didn't take it. So, should I just upload it to his application or does he need to show it when he goes for medical?

Also, if we have no children... would we still need to show a family composition (something that shows his parents and siblings names?). I'm really confused about whether applicant's get asked for this or not?

You need to upload it at immi as well as required for medicals. 

For family composition , my sponsor and I just filled and uploaded form 54( you can find it at department's website). We didn't make any FRC and our CO haven't asked for it.

Can you tell me which visitor visa you applied and what docs you submitted? I'm also planning to apply one but confused whether to apply or not cz I've seen many people got their visitor Visa got rejected

You have to visit the visa application center of your city for your biometrics.

We submitted the checklist docs on 11th January except my PCC. Uploaded PCC on 25th Jan and on 5th Feb I got my interview call.
