Congratulations mate. Did your myVEVO app visa description change from bridging to PR?
Thx mate.
i tried to log on by using my 457 visa TRN, a windows popping up saying doc number invalid.
So yes, once 186 is granted, your current visa will be disable.

Could anyone pls help me for sharing the process time?
I got told by agent saying 186 is most likely to be approved soon after co requests VAC2. Does anyone know if it is true?
Thank you all in advance.

I have a migration agent and don't think that immi will have a different approach to the cases as the migration agents are using the same procedure as if an individual is represented by themselves. I'm checking vivo every day with the TRN from the nomination as I don't have the logging credentials with whom my application has been lodged but it says that the TRN doesn't match my current visa. I presume that the decision hasn't been made hence there is no info but would like to hear a different opinion/experience.
Another thing that concerns me is that on the nomination approval document it says that we automatically are receiving the PR status after 6 months from the date that the nomination has been approved. On the other hand it says that I have 6 months from the approval to apply for PR. Anyone has a simpler explanation?
Hi Mark, I tried the same way to check my 186 visa granted by using the granted nomination TRN, however the vevo app always pops up a window saying CANNOT CONFIRM.

In VEVO you enter your basic info (name, date of birth, passport #, country of passport) and it will tell you what visa you currently hold. So if you hold a 457 and apply for a 186, VEVO will reflect the visa you hold today (if your PR has been granted, then it would show 186 instead of 457).
Thank you for the answer.
I just paid VAC2 invoice which was requested by CO, not sure how long should I still wait.

Once you put in the new details will reflect you are a resident on VEVO
Thank you for replying.
so I still need to manually put my PR visa number on it?
I thought once PR is issued, the status of 457 visa will be changed to invalid.

Does anyone know if the VEVO app visa status changes (bridging visa) when your get your PR visa granted? Does your visa grant number and reference number change or does it stay the same as the bridging visa?
Thanks

We applied on the 18th of February 2019

no email no news
we sent them a decision ready application with all the possible info that they may need
I don’t know if it is because our application is for customers service manager and as far as I know they look very close to this kind of position
only thing positive it that I just apply for Medicare and I received it this morning
i am super stressed I just hope we will receive some news soon
Hi Sere,
we are the same occupancy. I applied in March last year and got my nomination approved on May this year.
Dont be stress and keep your hope, and we will have the golden emails eventually.
Best of luck.

Yes , now initial assessment. How you get the vac 2 invoice ?
A vac2 invoice was sent from my CO, and I just paid it according to the payment method below. After it is paid, a receipt was generated.
i still haven’t heard anything back from my CO yet since Wednesday, and totally have no clue how long should I have to wait for the golden email.

I was requested to pay VAC2 by my case officer. Invoice is generated once It is paid.

Hi,
I got my nomination approved (20th April) then immi requested us to do our medicals (22nd April) which we did last week (1st May). Does your application normally get looked at again 28 days from when they request something or 28 days after you submit there request?
Thanks
Same question exactly what I asked. One of the forum members took 33 days.

I submitted my application & nomination under TRT stream on April 2018, after nearly 13 month wait finally got contacted by CO before Ester holiday.
more details of training benchmark, Health Check and English test result were requested.
all documents were submitted on the beginning of May.
wondering how long it may take to get response.
any advise would be appreciated.
God bless and good luck everyone.

I haven't received an email regarding assignment of a CO soon. My opinion is that the email was dispatched to a certain date range of applications and maybe some filters applied that sends it to applications under cetain conditions.
Still no news in any case on my front. It's my birthday today so I might call IMMI and ask for the best birthday present ever
If it works please share!!!! I m having my birthday on May, I might call up on the day as well. Lol

Did anybody receive the email which required you to finish police certificates and heath checks is automatic massage from DHA? And what does “your visa will shortly be allocated to a Decision Maker for assessment “ mean? Shortly be allocated means being assessed or not? Thanks
I have received the same email, and also quite a few people received it.
i am assuming there are more new CO from others visa departments are allocated to finalise 186 visa.

If you move from one role to another, and they are not closely aligned, you have to inform the IMMI.
If you change roles, you'll likely drop off your 457, and move onto a TSS VISA.
If your new role is not on the Medium-term stream, you will not qualify for the 186 TRT, and if it is, you now must wait 3 years instead of 2 before you can apply.
If you have been in your current role, on or before April 2017 on a 457 VISA, you should qualify for 186 TRT via the Grandfathering Arrangement.
I'd think carefully and consult an MA on your situation.
It is so frustrating.
two roles are related and my 457 were granted on March 2016 under grandfathering.
it is just too much concern that there is something wrong if I get promoted!
Who else would do the same role for more than 5 years! I have been at my current role for 4yrs!
I just don’t understand the procedures when immigration set up the rules! Too buggy!

Hi guys, just a question.
boss is considering to promote me to General manager in my company, but I m stucked at the nominated role.
Should I reapply a new 457? And wait another two years for 186 ?
any advise would be appreciated.

I really feel your mood, and so sorry to hear that.
I suffered that same shit before by the time I was applying 457 visa, got rejected straight away, then I appealed the case through AAT and waited for one and half year. I have spent my 5-year to get my permanent Residency granted. I believe that is the reward from god; he sees my efforts.
What I am trying to say that is you need to be strong and stay positive. Every case officer is different, you still have option to re-apply nomination and visa, and possibly your new application will be allocated to a god-sent person. OR go AAT and appeal the case, and you have at least 50% chance to win.
no matter which way you are going to take, you gotta believe god will see your efforts and you will have your PR eventually.
Wish you had best of luck.
