3. Thank you jassie Which state did they apply for? Did they apply in SA as well? Are they onshore in Adelaide? Which country are you from? I am from India but I am in Adelaide.

Hi
Yes we are all onshore (Adelaide) and we are from Brazil.
I am still waiting on nomination and visa. I applied in February 2018
4. What are the current timelines for approval for the 187?
I got my RCB approval yesterday and will be filing my nomination and visa application next week.
Wish me luck [emoji846]

It shouldnt be long! I have 3 friends who applied after march 2019 and they all got their visa already! I believe the new applications are being processing way faster!
I have been waiting since February 2018 and two friends from the same country applied in Adelaide with the same position over a year after me and they already got their pr
Stay positive
5. Hi
You can do it in two ways :
1. Either provide form 1022, birth certificate, letter from GP and your current visa and add him.
2. Get his passport first and provide them everything all together.
They can still open ur file without his passport and grant you visa. There is no issue in it. Adding your baby to ur application is free of cost.

Thank you so much
We provides the form, birth certificate of baby and letter from gp... I already applied for babys passport and will provide once its done we will provide as well! Very helpful

6. Hi everyone,
I would like to know if anyone had a child after applying for the visa and had to add the baby to their application.

My son was born mid april, and i am adding him in my application. Our MA asked for:

1022 form - change of circunstances
Aussie birth certificate
Letter from GP stating his health conditions
Foreign passport

The passport is gonna take a bit longer than expected...
Can this delay my process? Any thoughts

My timeline:
Rcb, nomination, visa applied: Feb 2018

Rcb approved October 2018

Importer/exporter

South Australia

Status: received

Thanks

7. Really...wow that's long 7 months..but I'm sure they must of asked for more information or documents inbetween... I'm really surprised never knew anyone waiting so long.... learning new things on this forum

Yep... dunno if my MA made some mistakes or they just took so long. On our side they didnt request any documents.
Importer exporter - working for a multinational with 3 branches in Australia
8. Yes I think you need to speak to your MA about this, either they have received RCB and they are not telling you or they haven't filed ur RCB coz it shouldn't take more than 6 weeks.

My RCB took over 7 months
I applied in 28/02/2019 and it got approved 10/10/2018
State: South Australia
9. Guys I have got chat with experienced lawyer who has been migration agent for last 20 years. He told me that delays of 187 visa is limited position, set quota on rsms visa, certain occupations such as cooks and Chefs most of the popular occupations taking long processing time. There is also most of the applications are frauds because The government changes the rules for in March 2018 and there are so many doggy’s file are in que. these files need to verify and at the same time government reduce their quota by half compared to 2016-2017. This government delivertly refused the visa or put on long waiting time. I have been waiting since 2017 as cook.

Hi
Can we know what is the quota for each occupation? I applied one year ago for importer exporter and I have never seen anyone in this forum with the same position... thanks
10. I have heard that the department of immigration is given priority to regional visas. I don't know if its true. I started my process on 02/03/2018, goit the RCB approved in october and still waiting. Just can't understand why take so long. Anyways, I hope the information is real.

good luck to everyone.

Hi
Is your state SA? We applied late February RCB, nomination and visa and our RCB was only approved in October... state SA
11. Hi everyone,
So nice to see so many people getting their PR :)
I have a stupid question: our 187 application was done through an agent and the company. I was wondering if I can check the progress online. The agent usually takes sometime to contact us, and it would be nice if I could follow up by myself. How do you guys check the status of your application? Do you think its fine to check even though the application went through a MA.

Thanks

12. Congrats!! I’m not sure about the exact date so i will add you guys as 15/06/2017 as the nomination and visa date on the timesheet 187

Hi can we have access to this excel sheet data base of the processing time?
I have applied for Importer Exporter in Feb 2018, South Australia and no news so far...
I would like to see if there is more people on the same occupation. Thanks so much
Cheers
13. It depends also on the occupation you're applying for (IT engineer, cook, Cafe Manager, Nurse, etc.) every occupation is different ; also depends on the state you're applying, last but not least is that immigration makes sure that the business is financially stable and able to pay you wages at least for the first 2 years.

Hi, thanks for explaining it further.
In my case I applied as “importer / exporter”, state of South Australia and the company is a multinational with branches all over the world...
Is there a place to check if the occupation or the state is in priority? Appreciated!!!
14. Good day everyone,
I have seen a lot of people getting the nomination and visa very fast... which is great news!!! Feels like immigration is speeding up, but today I checked in their website and the time remains 21-22 months. Do you know if this reflects the current processing time? I applied February 2018, and I am not expecting an answer anytime soon... but it would be nice to know the real processing time! Cheers

15. Hello,
Any exporter importer applied for 187 visa? If yes or you know someone, can you please share your timeline. Most people are Restaurant manager, cook, childcare, retail manager.. but the last post I saw from someone that applied for exporter importer was over a year ago. Thanks and lovely weekend for everyone.
