The website indication for SA invitation is on average 5 weeks. However, I had my invitation after 16 days which is about two weeks. So I guess its within a time frame of 5 weeks and depend on the information you have provided to determine if it is straightforward for a quick processing. Also, I heard from the rest that the processing time during festive season was slow so the average time for processing would change as time goes by. It would be better if you go to this link for the latest update:- https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/resources/processing-times

As for the visa grant, I am unable to provide any reliable information since I haven't gotten to that stage. But based on what my agent had told me, she was looking at probably 4-5 months. And according to this tracker here:- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e6B4RJHJVbPbDXBSUh8sLP3WshvdIetq5f4hheTJQic/edit#gid=1908430159 , its saying 7-8 months. So I guess its probably between 4-8 months and also depending on the information you had submitted as well.

    Hope this helps. 😃

Thanks for the info and congrats to everyone who got the grant

  2. I hv positive skills assessment frommacs last year butthere is an error regarding my job position in skills letter. Its printed as senior business analyst instead of business analyst. Thats because i hv submitted stat dec with a typo mistake. I want to get this corrected from acs now.. wats the decent reason i can quote acs? Previous documentation is retained.

Wat are the decent reasons we can give while relodging acs? Any pointers willbe highly appreciated.

  3. Hello all, I am in a serious situation. Experienced people, pls guide me. I have submitted a stat dec to acs previously which contained wrong job title but correct roles and responsibilities. Acs assessment was positive based on roles.

Shud i submit the same stat dec to immigration ? Or can i submit a new one?

How do i correct tghe previous stat dec which is submitted to acs? Can an affidavit or new acs solve the problem?

I actually approached an agent and paid him half the amount and requested him fo fix the issue by amending the earlier stat dec or submitting affidavit or watsoever to be on safe side. He initially agreed but after receiving the first instalment, he neither gave me a contract letter. Now he is threatenjng me to give more money or else he will put a case against me to DIBP that i have made a wrong stat dec. It wa stotally unintentional and i want tk rectify it smoothly but he is blackmailing me now. I am in india. Any advise for me please friends?

Instead of helping me as an agent he is complaining about me to immigration. How to stop this?

The list is updated very regular but It is very unlikely to come out of special conditions until July 2019 when the annual quota is reset.

My occupation is now in special conditions but wasn't when I applied in July.

Fine with the existing speccial conditions. Hope they dont impose some more special conditions to filter out candidates by jan end.

  5. Does the occupation list for 489 SA change every 6 months? Or does it change randomly anytime? My occupation software engineer is available in special conditions only as updated in 6/7/18. Can i expect that this remains contant till 6 more months i.e till feb 2019?

My acs letter is due in jan and i want to pay migration agent fees this week only if the occupation remains till jan ending or feb...Any pointers on this one?

Hello all, i am in a typical situation. In my prev company, i worked under 4 different team leads. Oneof them has privided me a stat dec with my roles and responsibilities. But he joined one year after my joining date. Can i take stat dec from him? Else i also have a stat dec from my colleage(not junior). Which one can i submit to immigration? This is the only one holding meup. Can someone experienced advise on the same pls.

I think multiple stat decs are required in ur case..not sure. Some senior memebers can guide. I saw my friends submitti g stat decs with senior colleagues who joined tgd company prior to them..
