  1. Hi all,

glad to share that my visa came through earlier today. This forum has been very helpful for me to find relevant information, which I used to inform a number of decisions (including the timing of resignation from my current employer despite some level of uncertainty ).

I have updated my signature. I am not in the May excel sheet. If someone could add my info to it, please.  I once requested it but received no response.

BTW, I am a researcher and as you can see, an immigrant myself. Am very interested in doing research on immigrants and how they adapt to the new life and work in a new country! Maybe you can participate in my research after I have entered Australia 😀

    Good luck to everyone!

    Congratulations!

This is very strange, as there is cooks waiting from February 2017 and didn't get their visa yet, not even been rejected. Who know how this immigration officers are working 🤔

I agree. There has been a very strange pattern recently. Needless to say, those guys who got their visa granted in such a short time are extremely lucky! Congratulations to them!

Silent reader - just got my golden email today.

I'm JS in March 2018 in the spreadsheet.

I applied for nomination and visa on 1st of March, 186 DE, University Lecturer, direct grant, no contact whatsover.

Perfect timing, leaving work now to celebrate!

    Good luck everyone!

Congratulations @JS_186! Thanks for sharing the info. I am also University Lecturer. Hope mine would come in a similar timeframe. It's currently hard for me to plan anything without knowing when it will be granted.

Where can I find the spreadsheet? Can someone please share it. Thanks!

Hi Ak101, on the top of this webpage there are several tabs. One of them reads "Visa Timelines" (which is between "Articles" and "Money Transfers"). In the drop-down menu, select "ENS 186 timeline", then you can see the spreadsheet.

  5. I have just joined the forum for a few days. Looking at the spreadsheet, I was wondering whether there is a trend based on occupation. Glad to see the discussion today on this. It helps to make (slightly) better prediction and be more realistic. I say "slightly" better because the process contains so much variation, even within the same occupation!
