My one is the same. showing Received. Nomination approved in Dec 2018. Money for a partner English was asked 18/12/18, paid 20/12/18. The case was updated 24/12/2018 then 07/01/2019 but status still remains the same.

My wife also got 29 in speaking but overall score is above 30. Now i have asked my MA about it, he has not replied yet. I thought it was overall score of 4.5 which is equal to 30 of pte was enough for secondary applicant. Now i am confused.
It is not overall, it is each component.

Has anyone ever heard of a financial restriction for a 457 - 186 visa (either DE or TRT)?
- Or for any visa in fact (189 maybe)?A friend of mine told me that their MA has said that the one requirement they need to transition from a 457 to a 186, is that they need to show funds of 45k (AUD) in their personal bank account(s).
I've never heard of this (for any visa actually - other than investment visas) and was wondering if anyone had run into something similar?
Hard to believe.
A half of the Australians are unable to demonstrate spare 45k on their accounts

Good luck. Did you pay via IMMI online?
My MA paid for it by using my Credit card. Not sure how it's been done.

That's great news! Seeing someone with the same occupation get some movement gives me hope
Last week I was a bit depressed about the whole waiting experience, and made a goal for myself - do not check or think about all this visa related staff over Dec and Xmas. Decided to let it go and not to worry. Then good news came instantly )

Correct me if I am wrong, but this shows they have less applications submitted, yet process fewer per month now, and triple the wait times?
yes. fewer applications submitted, fewer applications processed. Maybe they cut employees?

For people that are being approved, did you have to provide Form 80?
I submitted my completed Form 80 as well as police checks with my application. Just wanted to minimize possible requests/questions from CO.

Jan is almost done, Feb is getting there. a
Question: I have a nomination TRN, is there a way I can check nomination status? In my IMMI portal, I can only see my application.

Are you on BUPA 457 visitor insurance or domestic private health insurance? The two are very different.
I believe it's BUPA 457 visitor insurance, it has hospital cover + extras, dentist, all this sort of things.

thanks for your replies.
THat's what I thought. Will stay with Bupa as long as i can
-
Not sure if it's been asked before.
We are on 457, applied 186 in Feb.
As far as I understand we are eligible for Medicare (blue or something like this).
Question: if we will apply to Medicare and we will get it, do we still need to pay for 457 Health Insurance (Private fund)?
As far as I understand as we are still on 457 (expires 2020) we must have the appropriate level of cover. Is Medicare cover good enough?
How does it work?
Thanks.
