CO requested for Payslips, employment payment summary, and a cover letter stating company wishes to continue employment for at least 2 years.

That has been uploaded yesterday.. I am still waiting for my police checks from home country to come through and upload them.

    Good luck everyone 🙂

Applied both visa and nom Trt 186: 05/march/2018

    HR country

    Status: initial assessment

Did the CO ask that to you? Or to your company to approve the nomination? I'm just curious.

    Hi Shaun,

I also lodged under accountant category on 12 Feb 2018. How did you know that nomination was approved? i cant see any such thing when i import my application to my immi account.

    Occupation: Accountant
    State: NSW
    Birth Country: India
    Stream: 457 - 186 DE
    Number of applicants: 3
ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied:  12 Feb 2018

Nomination Approved:  Dont know - can someone help
    IMMI Status: Received

The only way to know if your nomination has been approved is to ask your employer. This is a "contract" between the company and the immigration department, that's why you have no way to see the outcome of this. If your company used a MA, just ask them. there is no other way.

Guys I know this has been asked and discussed before but can some one direct me to information where it say we need to stay with the employer for couple of months once the PR got granted and also kindly let me know if we also need to renew the oversees police clearance if its past 1 year of issue as I have renewed the Australian Police checks but waiting on the oversees as my country police are slow 🤣

What you can potentially do is asking your employer to keep you as an employees for 2 or 3 months on unpaid leaves, and then when you're back, well the time off made you realised you wanted to move somewhere else 🙂  I guess it's hard to prove that you planned to leave after the visa, if the employer doesn't complain, no reason for the immigration to be aware of that. Unless someone thinks I'm wrong?

Sorry guys for the late reply... I can't disclose the source but close associate informed me that government offices will be going in holiday mode from this week Wednesday so there will be on skeleton crew for emergency cases leading to Christmas and new year and will be back 2nd week of January full staff. I can also say there will be some changes coming in February 2019 from immigration department some form of news or update on the huge pending cases.

I guess they will increase the processing time again from 12-18 to 18-24 maybe? I'm so tired of this situation... and I know everyone is feeling the same in this forum 😞

Same here as well my visa was lodged on 4th march 2018 but the last updated is showing as 16th March 2018.

It seems that we are in a similar case and we also we have a similar timeline, I'm happy that I'm not only in that case for the updated dates, I hope we will have the good news this week!

    @Kashif.Iqbal

You will know that you have a CO assigned once your "Last updated" date changes.

Also, as soon as a CO is assigned, something will be actioned. Meaning, they will either ask you for some documentation or grant your case.

Also, received will change to either "initial assessment" or to "further assessment", due to the above details.

Are you sure about this? My nomination has been approved in Feb (submitted Oct 2017), my application was lodged on the 15th of March and my "Last update" is April the 5th, and it's still labelled as "Received", any clue what's going on here?

    Hey all,

Been a silent reader for a while waiting for our 186 ENS DE.

My wife been working for the global corporate for 7 years, nomination applied end of Feb 2018, her job title/spec did change slightly since they nominated her for a position, the new position still fall under the same department, boss, type of work. HR updated this info. Will this effect anything with her application? Meaning going back in the cue, they haven't look at the nomination yet so it is still OK?

    Thanks!

I have the same situation, I moved from developer/programmer to a management position where I have about 20+ ppl to manage and my nomination has been approved. You guys should be fine.

  8. Did anyone here have to do the nomination on behalf of his company in the case of a 186 TRT? I need to ask some info as the HR person in my company is completely useless, and I'm sure that she is not honest with me as she just want to avoid the topic.

The MA asked for an update for the nomination (long story short, the HR person did submit the nomination, and the MA did the application), but the HR said that the portal doesn't give any update on the nomination. is that true? Can anyone help me with that?

If you are not out of the country for a long time, then I see no reason why this would affect your case. Typically, once the CO opens / views your case, they will either grant it without requesting anything (ideally), or send you a message requesting additional documentation.

If they do request documentation though, you would only have 28 days to get it to them.

Thanks Hex, so from what I understand, I can potentially get my PR while I'm overseas, that's a good news, hopefully, it happens 🙂

    Hi All,

I have a quick question, I applied in March which makes me feel (and hope) that my application will be processed soonish. However, my company wants to send me overseas (US, UK, etc.) for a business trip and I've been told that they never approve the visa while you're not in Australia, is that true?

    Thanks

Sorry to insist guys but no one knows the answer to that?

Unsure if this has been answered before.

When the global processing times update monthly, does this reflect the number of months to process an application that was lodged on that day or from when the application was first lodged?

If that doesn't make sense, let me use an example:

    • If the application is submitted on 1-JAN-2018 and the processing times are 6-9 months (I wish) then you'd expect a grant around JUL or OCT (hypothetically of course)
    • Then on 21-NOV-2018 the processing times are 12-18 months, does this mean that is 12-18 months further from today or 12-18 months from 1-JAN-2018?

Probably a big unknown with Immi, but thought I'd ask.

Every time I asked this question (this forum, my own MA, etc.) they say that the current processing time is applied to all visas I'm afraid (that's also why they update this time on immi portal), however, from what I can see here, we have a lot of applications from Feb approved at the moment, so it's definitely within the first timeframe which was 9 months...

Anyway, as you probably know already, there is no point to make assumptions, this is totally random 😕
