Hello everyone, submitted my application early this year, and unfortunately being in the state which suffers from Covid the most don't know when we can resume in-person appointment here in Vic, but just wondering if Im allowed to move to other states next year and whether or not it will throw my application to the back of the line as moving to a differnet state ?

Hello everyone,

Not sure if there are any topics about this job but I looked around a bit and couldn't find anything

So I'm currently working as a childcare group leader and was thinking to change a career becoming a migration agent.

I did a bit of research and I know after obtaining a degree you still need to pass the capstone assessment, meet English requirement and register with OMARA, etc., just wanna prepare myself before actually changing my career!

Are there any migration agents here or if you know someone who's currently in this field could you please share some information about this job? The pros and cons, the working environment, as well as the wage range if possible

Hi guys I'm just wondering if I can apply for citizenship when I'm overseas?

Just did a bit of research but still a bit unsure and worried...

I just need to travel abroad for a few weeks and unfortunately it involves the date that I'm planning to apply for citizenship.

Hopefully I don't have to wait til I'm back in Australia and I can just lodge my application online while overseas?

Nomination approved 1st Nov 2018

No document requested

Visa status: received.

Haven't heard anything since nomination approval and visa status is still showing received.

 

My documents were actually requested from the agent not the immigration as my agent said I hadn't got a case officer yet, but they wanna make sure everything is perfect when a co picks up my file. Then one working day after I submitted the documents, my immi account status just changed to finalised. Maybe double check with your agent if you can update your documents, hope they might pick up your file straight away

Hi guys, finally I got my good news today! This is my timeline:

Nomination and visa applied: 22/11/2017

Nomination approved: 04/01/19

Updated AFP and payslips: 11/01/2019

Visa granted: 14/01/2019

Occupation: Childcare group leader

State: VIC

Three of my friends got their nomination approved around same time as well in VIC and Tassie, we are all childcare group leader. Hopefully they will hear the good news pretty soon too.

I wish everyone get their golden mail soon!! cause it looks like the government is speeding up, fingers crossed for everyone here

I received an email from the agent saying that my nomination is approved, and they asked me for recent pay slips and police check, but the status in my immi account is still received. I'm wondering is there anyone looking at my profile or just the agent wants to keep my details up to date til the immigration pick up my file ?

Do u have ur own immi account ? I used that to apply different visas before,  U can apply for one and import ur current visa application. From what I remember U just need visa reference no., ur date of birth and travel document number

I imported the visa application into my immi account, but check with ur MA if they let u do it cause if you edited something in ur application and resulted visa refused, ur MA might not take the responsibility.

No... I asked the agent but they said I don't have to do anything yet cause they haven't looked at my profile. Do you update urs?

Just got information from the agent, they r finalising application in Apr 2017, hopefully its true(?) and good luck to everyone!

I've been waiting for 11months, and still waiting.... no any news yet
