Hi Guys,
Thanks to almighty.
My wife got her visa today. It was very quick. I will advise you all, it is better to apply as an onshore applicant and upload all the documents at once. I did the same way.
Visa Lodged on 10 May
Medical on 21 May
Visa Grant 28 May
Good Luck to all of you.

When you lodge online in immiaccount they will ask there thanks
Brother, I filled the whole form, but there was no such option to choose from. Did you guys get the option in the form you filled on IMMI website? If yes is there a chance, it is a problem with my account. Because I filled the whole form and did not come across any area to provide such information.
If you got that option in your form, can you please attach a screenshot of that.
Thanks

Doesnt matter just say u sponsoring her
and onshore visa is if she comes on tourist or any other visa and you apply for 489 subsequent entrant while she is in australia she gets a bridging visa but if u applied her subsequent visa and she come on other visa to australia she cant stay after her visa expires so its better apply when she has an existing visa and she is here in australia
Hi James,
Thanks a lot bro for your response. Yes, she is visiting me and is currently on 600 visitor visa. What I understand from your response is, I do not have to look for onshore and offshore option on visa form as there is no option on the form to chose. She will automatically get her bridging visa !!

Hi...
I added my hubby as a 489 Subsequent Entrant; as an on shore applicant - while my application for Subclass 489 was still in progress....I used my file no to add him ; u can either use your own immi account or create one for your spouse. My hubby was on shore on a Guardian Visa, accompanying my 2 children who were residing and studying at Magill in South Australia. I was in Malaysia as the primary and off shore applicant.
My visa along with my children was granted on 13/09/2018 and a week after - my hubby's visa was granted on 21/09/2018. So, based on my experience, Maggie is right but I am not certain if you can pay AUD 1860 and directly add your spouse to your current application or pay AUD 3800 to be added as a subsequent entrant. I wish to highlight as well...that even as a subsequent entrant , I was also discouraged to add my hubby by a CO but I insisted and wrote back that good or bad... on whether we are granted or refused - we will face it as a family.
Rafaq... you can wait either for your visa to be granted then after apply for a tourist visa for your spouse...hence she will be a subsequent entrant 489 on shore applicant where she will be granted a bridging visa until a decision is made....or as per Maggie's suggestion - write to your CO first for guidance/clarification.
All the best to you....
10Hi Joanne,
Can you please confirm, if an onshore Subsequent Entrant applicant gets a bridging visa? If yes, does he./she entitles to work or study while being on Bridging Visa

Hi Everyone,
I will apply for Subsequent entrant for my wife earlier next year. Please guide for the documents required.
Should I apply for Visitor Visa first and apply Subsequent entrant as an onshore applicant?
Will she get bridging Visa as an onshore applicant and for how long that will last?

Thanks, mate.
Yes, she was on a tourist visa. I applied for her visa as an onshore applicant.
for relationship documents, I uploaded a marriage certificate, an affidavit from parents and inlaws, call records, statutory declaration from my colleague and from my side as well, joint bank account summary and photographs of marriage and vacation with hotel booking proof.
