Quick question for those who have had to undertake the medical exam more than once due to expiry. How does one know if their second medical exam has cleared?

The email from BUPA said to give 5 business days and then look at my immi account, but the message below has remained the same since the first time.

    Will I receive an email?

You can check the status of your medical examinations in the emedical client. Access it at https://www.emedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient

@nanda Not to be a party "pooper", but possibly something you're unaware of (I've seen a few posts of yours like this) - there's a "congratulations" emoticon available for all posts.
    - Using these emoticons, help keep the threads valuable, by containing more relevant / helpful information.

Didn't know that we shouldn't spend a few words to participate in the happiness of forum members rather than a click emoticon which expresses nothing. I knew the emoticons existed. Anyways thanks for the policing. I'll refrain from any comment from now on. Better a silent visitor.

@nanda Just a reminder that this forum represents only a hand full of applications in the system and although it might be the "first" for the forum it's unlikely the "first" in general.
    - Still something interesting to note (for the forum).

@Hex Understand Hex. I was just trying to boost the spirits up for the larger good of the forum members but looks like it was a false boost anyways. Most probably the date was May 2018! 😀

Thanks @nanda nearly 2 years for nom and 17 months for visa doesn’t seem fast!! Fingers crossed for more good news this week

But from what is in your signature your nomination was approved in May 2019 and your visa came in July 2019. That makes it fast. No worries. Whatever it is you have crossed the hurdles and have the PR. Have fun and enjoy!

Silent reader for a VERY long time!!! I remember this topic being a few hundred pages....

Our visa is approved 🎉 I’m so happy 😁

    Details in my signature

Congratulations!! Very happy for you. You have waited patiently for long for your nomination and now your visa has been granted quite fast. That’s great!

First success for this week! Hope more people will get their good news.

    Enjoy!

    Hi

I want to ask one question I applied my ENS  186 through TRT stream on September 2018, got my nomination and visa on same time on May 2019. currently I am working at same place from where I got my PR,my boss told me that he is going to sale the restaurant on September this year and one guy is going to buy the place he is happy to keep me and he also told me he will increase my wage as well but I don’t want to work with him

    my question is

can I leave my job after business sold out because according to my visa I have to work 2 Years? Any expert here please give me suggestions

    thanks

    Hi,

I am not a registered MA and hence my advise is very general. Feel free to reject it. As I have understood from many sites on this topic if you have been granted nomination and visa and then the business is sold out then it is up to the employer and employee to reach to an agreement and the new employer has to apply for a new nomination. In your case he is happy to do so and that too with an increased pay. You are lucky in that sense.

Though you may not like the new employer it is advisable to work for them for at least 2 years and then part ways as those are the basic conditions on which the visa was granted. I am sure you got this PR after considerable effort and struggle. Why waste it for 2 years? Just my two cents. Other people may add more value. Good luck.

    Cheers!

It was very hard to wait that long but I knew nothing wrong with the documents and my case ..... just that kept me going... visa + nomination applied- 11/5/17
Docs asked 19/10/17- submitted same day
Docs asked again 22/11/17- submitted 6/12/17
After that it was a big full on file until 29 April 2019...no news...at all...call them they say its under processing.
I decided to lodge a complaint on 29/4/19- they said said to give them 3 weeks to find out about my file
3 weeks 1 day gone no answer again.... lodged a second complaint on the first one. The lady said we will get back to you in 3 days... that night received an email...detailed one but almost same answer that could be this this reason. Thanks for your patience.
2 days later - CO called my boss and approved the nomination
Asked for Afp and medical 24/5/19- submitted both by 4/6/19 and then started waiting again....kept calling them as The wait was killing me.
4/7/19 - I called global feedback unit... once file is open they said can’t put pressure on CO to make a decision.
Lawyer said to just wait till 16/7/19 then we will chase them....
Meanwhile I made up my mind that I will go to ombudsman and lodge a complaint against immi if didn’t hear anything in July...... but finallllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy
IT IS HERE..... cannot suggest to stay positive all the time as it is really hard... but I would just say that NEVER GIVEUP on things what you deserve and have worked hard for ....I am really happy now .
Thanks to this group for all this support all the time.
All the best to each one of you waiting there.... good luck !!!

That was a very loooong and stressssful journey. Not sure how many of us can wait and chase and follow-up like that...Half of the time we sit down thinking to not disturb the process lest it goes on the negative side. Anyways salute your resilience in keeping at it till it came. Happy for you that in the end it is positive. Enjoy your well deserved success.

    Cheers!

    Hi All,

Just wanted to keep you posted on my timeline!

I have received the Golden email this morning 08/07/2019.

It is been such a long journey for me even with a solid application. I have been a silent reader as well and tried to get the best out of everyone's case ! This forum has been very helpful. One day ago, I was in lots of similar cases like some people in the Forum. For those ones, I would like to say, I know it is lots of UP AND DOWN, lots of downtimes and stressful situation as at the end of the day the outcome of the visa will affect your project life, but keep hope, positive on a daily basis, having a long processing time does mean that it will result in a refusal or there is anything wrong in your application but sometimes politics/policy can delay the outcome so be strong it will eventually get through ! it took me 5 months from the nomination approval to the PR. I am wishing you all the best and really try to get the best out of this waiting time !

    Here is my timeline :

    VISA APPLICATION: 08/03/2018

    NOMINATION APPLICATION: 09/03/2018

    NOMINATION APPROVED: 05/03/2019

VISA REQUEST FOR MORE INFO: 05/03/2019 ( AFP, STATUTORY DECLARATION)

VISA REQUEST FOR MORE INFO: 12/04/2019 ( Witness not recognized on the STATUTORY DECLARATION)

    VISA GRANTED ON THE 08/07/2019

    Congratulations on the good news!

Hope some good news comes soon for the rest who are waiting. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Really appreciate it. Helps a lot in keeping the stress in check and being sane.

    Best wishes!

Thanks Hex. I got my visa today...I am a retail buyer.. I got 457 visa in October 2016 and I applied Nomination and 186 TRT visa on April 2019.. Nomination was approved on 12 June 2019 and visa Grant on 8-07-2019.....Top of the that today my elder brother got 190 visa( Victoria ) as well. What a lucky day for both brothers 🥳. He is a professional chef... Hex you are doing a great job on this page. You always give accurate information regarding 186. Thanks again 🙏

Congratulations to both of you on the Great news!

    Best Wishes!

I know it doesn't say when I look at under the section 'About this visa', but it doses mentioned under the section 'When you have this visa'  ---> 'We expect that you will work for your nominating employer for at least 2 years. If you don't, we might cancel your visa"

    This keeps bothering me.

Logically what it means is that when you are applying you had all intentions to work for the employer for a period of two years. If that doesn't happen for whatever reason then I guess it is up to the department to assess the application and see if there was any false detail. I am not an expert but probably this link has a more explanation of various options and actions. https://www.myaccessaustralia.com/leave-employer/

I am not associate with them. Just googled your condition and found some answers.

    Cheers!
