I applied in may 2017 cook ,nsw still no news it's been almost 20 months and it says 22 months processing time hopefully they can pick up my file within next two months

RCB approved : 23rd Feb, 2017

Nomination & Visa applied : 17th March, 2017

Case Officer requested docs on 4th Sep, 2018

Docs submitted on 2nd Oct, 2018

Visa approved on 16th Oct, 2018.

Looks like files lodged in NSW are being processed quicker the the other states

Rcb visa nomination all together applied in june 2017 chef DE NSW

Rcb approved in 5 weeks back in july or august 2017

Immigration called my employer today and got nomination approved after couple of hours of that call..file for visa not opened yet and agent told me that visa file will open in couple of days...

Waiting to hear from agent for further information

I think they are planning to change permanent residency into some sort of 5 years visa with some restrictions but the proposal still has to go through parliament so let's see
