Bad news guys
My colleague and I both got visa refused today.
My timeline
187 DE cook VIC
LR country
Apply Rcb + nom + visa : Oct, 2017
Rcb appovol : Nov, 2017
Ask for update financial doc and more documents for nomination : mid Sep, 2018
Updated all documents 05, Oct , 2018
nomination refused: 25, Feb, 2019
they gave a lots of reason but the main reason is they don't see any evidence that my employer need a full time cook.
My colleague apply as a motel manger 26, Feb, 2018
they refused the nomination today too.
Reason is the tasks of the motel manger can be done by the general manager.
Feeling hopeless as we both work for this business for almost 1 and a half year.
Still thinking should we go for AAT. Not sure can we go through two more years to wait for the results.

Hi,
They had requested for updated reference letters in June 2017 which I provided within a week. The status of my application has been "further assessment" ever since, over 1.5 years now. My nomination was approved Aug 2017. It has been that long, I don't even know what to make of this lengthy wait. Have called the department multiple times and they refuse to entertain because I am still within the 22 months processing time frame. I am so disheartened.
Omg this is so stressed! I thought I've been waiting for a long time but you even worst.. Even you called them they gave you shity response. Good luck anyway hope we both get the good news soon.

Hi all,
I am concerning is there anyone in our group having experiences like me now, as Immi called my employers to check on nomination a week ago and then I haven’t got any calls till now. If it happens to you before, would they process your application and nomination soon?
Big thanks if anyone has some ideas for me.
Note: DE May 17 in Qld for restaurant manager, and Sydney Immi processing office.
You are not the only one. Case officer call my employer to check with nomination on mid September. And she remind my employer to check email as they ask for more documents. We submitted all the documents that they require two weeks ago. So far no response yet. Hope will hear some good news soon.

Hi guys,
I need your advice here. As I mentioned before CO ask for more documents for my nomination. She is questioning about my salary. What can we explain to them? 47000 per year is that not enough for a cook? How about public holiday and week end pay? If I say agree with the package of 47000 per year as working at PH and Sunday as well is that okay?
Is that normal they ask for these questions?
Thanks I really appreciate for any comments.

but that pretty much depends category or occupation, Cooks,Retail Managers are level 2 skills and high number of applications, so they are bit slow and taking atleast 20+ months in 90% cases
Yes that's why I felt weird because it happen too quick.

Hi there,
I'm a silent follower here for a while. Here's my timeline:
187 DE Cook VIC
Apply rcb, nom, visa all in once 23/10/2017
LR country
RCB approved in one month
Immigration request more documents on last Thursday 13/9/2018. I feels a bit weird because I wait for not more then a year and they request for more documents now. Is that a good sign or bad sign? As many case they processing in 20+ months my MA ask me to hold the police check and health check. Now I'm worrying about it.
