    Hello and congratulations!!!

Were you able to apply for Victoria nomination without the AHPRA in-principle approval?

    Hi,

I did , in my case I knew it will be approved soon so I called and emailed them as well .. they said they understood since a lot of nurses go through this issue . Just make sure you are definitely going to get approval in-principle . Give it a try . Good luck

    Hello,

Good luck on receiving a pre-invite from Victoria. I am also a registered nurse in the U.S., done my ANMAC assessment last year, but I only have 1.5 year of nursing experience. Hopefully, Victoria will keep the same requirements and I will be able to apply after 6 months....although my score is not as high as yours...

Keep us posted regarding the AHPRA outcome....

So .. I’m happy to announce that I’ve got my nomination for Victoria .. glory be to God

I completely understand that being registered, it's just the time frame with the 190. My friend got his Ahpra in thee months, with 90 days to collect registration. Anmac has proved my qualifications and proof  I'm a registered nurse.

It's just more money if I've to book a return flight without a  visa grant.

Anyway, I can't do much about it.

So what was your sitcoms ? Do u mind sharing?

  4. Hello Guys ,

I already had my ANMAC assessment done last year  in March as I am a US nurse , it was pretty easy . The AHPRA process was started in December but there was a delay from one of the board of nursing with sending my COGS.. I have two EOI , one in VIC and one in Qsld .. so I spoke with them and they mailed the last COGS 2 weeks ago .. don’t know if the can finalize for me in the next two weeks .. otherwise I might need to not accept the pre-invite and wait .. I’m not sure how long it will take again ..

    Hello Bella,

Yeah, I received the pre-invite in almost 10 days from my updated D.O.E with 85+5 points. When did you file your 190 EOI with 90 points? I guess, you will be receiving it soon. 🙂

I filed it in 15/02 with the updates score and I’m happy to say that I just received my pre-invite a few hours ago .. so excited about it .. my only problem is my AHPra has already assessed everything waiting for one more COGS and I’m hoping it could be done before the two weeks deadline .. I’m not sure if I could still go ahead and submit without my registration information and wait for them to ask me ?? Anyone’s advise will be appreciated.. I’m stressing now .. lol

  6. Congratulations Pooja.. I’m in similar situation as you .. offshore critical care and emergency nurse with 90 points for state nomination .i already have superior English score and over 10 years of experience so there isn’t much to do. I recently changed my state to Victoria.. it looks like you got yours only 15 days from the day of effect. Any pointers ? I hope to hear something soon.

  7. Hello guys , I’m also a registered nurse in the US and recently submitted my EOI with 75+5 . I haven’t yet started my APHRA registration and was planning to do so once I get nominated  for NSW  or is that a requirement for 190 for NSW . It’s a bit challenging to get the registration since they are requiring you to appear in Australia for that . Can anyone advise me pls .. also anyone has an idea of a timeline with my current scores ?

Make sure you research how long AHPRA is taking, from what I've seen it takes several months.

Also, I was trying to find a post by one nurse who got an invite from one state, but shortly after, she was asked to provide her registration details - which she couldn't do by their deadline because AHPRA takes so long. So she didn't get her visa. I'm pretty sure it wasn't NSW but it's something to be aware of.
