    Hi guys

I have a question. If my partner doesn't have an English test result, how much should I pay for the government for 187 visa? I heard it is about 5000. Just need to know the exact number so I can prepare. Very much appreciated for your help!

    $4890

    Hi Bishal911,

I just received my visa grant on 12 Dec 2018.

There are NIL conditions attached but if you are asking about the 2 years period, I believe it starts after the visa grant.

I asked my MA about it and this is his reply:

Thank you for your email. The visa comes with nil conditions. However, section 137Q of the Migration Act specifies that subclass 187 visa holders can have their visas cancelled if they don't make a genuine effort to remain with the employer for two years from the date of visa grant. The onus is on the employer to report any changes to the Department of Home Affairs. Each situation is analysed on a case by case basis. If the employer is willing to change your employment conditions then you may not be at risk of being reported to the Department. In any case, you would always have a right to show that you have tried to make a genuine effort.

    Hope this helps. 🙂

    Thanks mate  really appreciated 🤙🏻

to mine,  NO conditions what so ever. That's what confuses me about the 2-year condition.

Every other visa has clearly visible "applicable"  condition written on the first page. However, on 187 visa approval/grant letter have no condition mentioned. I have checked Immi website and all the conditions written on immi website but can't clearly see any condition which specifically mentioned for 187. SO 😏

May be because we already start working before lodge the visa. Co can see how long we are working for so they didn’t put any condition on visa. I read on this blog some people have visa condition specially who applied from off shore but we shouldn’t take any risk at all . Pets lay I think we should work at least 1 years after visa granted and quit job on mutual undestnd with employer any and make any strong reason to quit the job to keep our side safe

If you already got the 187 permanent resident visa granted, you are obliged for working 2 years full time with your employer after granted. However do anyone still working even you get abuse, not getting superannuation paid for the last 18month, never get paid overtime (10-15 hours easily every week) and day in lieu (still working on public holiday) is anyone able to tell me the way out? Cause this is so frustrating...

    Should go to fair work

Nomination is only related to sponsor it’s nothing with the nominee

Well what I’m saying is thats the global processing time. And 80-90% people got their visa around that time. All people are not lucky like you mate. I also applied on Feb 2018 and I’m happy for you but I still think it takes a long time to get my visa.

I think they picked the file randomly.

22-24 months. Its written in your immi account and home affairs site.

People are waiting from 2016 . To be honest depends on your luck , I also lodged on same date , nomination approved 31st oct next day open my file and request for new afp despite of my previous  afp is still valid . Don’t know how long 🤞
