    Hi there,

Yes, that is correct, you don’t press the button till the police checks are back and have been uploaded, the button at the bottom notifies them that you have finalised there requests. Once it’s been pressed I’m not sure it can be reactivated so if I was you I’d not press it till you have them both back and uploaded under the character section of your immi account.

    Thank you Mhaffie 🙂

The wording is ‘I confirm I have provided the information requested’ it’s at the very bottom of the attach documents section. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you’ll see it ... if you haven’t activated it I’m not sure they will know you have uploaded your info, if you go back in, the prompt should still be there, my visa has been finalised but the button is still showing on the bottom of the Sonsors page, hope this helps emoji4.png

Hi there, I have been asked for more documents for first time after applying 5 mths ago. It is for police checks. We uploaded the payment receipts onto immiaccount but didn't click that button at bottom of screen as apparently only meant to press that once we upload the actual police certificates (which are in mail will take another couple weeks). I got told over phone by immigration worker today to only press it once my police certificates are uploaded. They said they get a notification in the meantime to see when we upload things (eg. receipts) as otherwise they wouldn't have seen anything on our immiaccount back when we first applied 5 mths ago. Does this sound right?

  3. Hi all,

We have received our first correspondence for 309/100 visa via email using a case officer name and department ID requesting criminal checks to be done. On the attachment they provided it said to reply 'at the details below' but it didn't have any specific details. I read somewhere on the attachment though that we can upload documents via immiaccount which we have done for the receipts. We have to wait for the actual certificates as they are being mailed out to us. So they will come after the deadline of 15 days and then we will upload them onto immiaccount.

    a) How do we know the case officer has received the uploaded document?

    b) Do we just ignore the email itself and don't reply as they didn't actually provide an email address to respond and it will likely not get read if we respond to the original email?

    Thanks for your help!

Was it a letter that was showing on your Immi file or was it an email request from the Department?

As I say, last year the Form 80 was showing on the list I was sent of documents requested, but that may have changed.

As for processing times, I was told 12-18 months last year and got it in 3 so I've never really understood how they work lol

It was a letter on Immi file which also got directly emailed to our email address. It was definitely requesting medicals to be done so that they can continue with process. form 80 most likely required but I have seen some instances where people don't need them. wow 3 months! lucky you! It didn't happen to be applied from Canada?

    Hey,

My visa was granted yesterday :)

    Applying from the U.K.

    Applied: 11th Feb 2018

    Granted: 8th May 2018

Granted 100 visa as well :)

Want to say that this forum was very helpful to me, so thank you to all who contribute!

good for you! Any ideas if Canada has similar wait times to UK due to our relationship with Aust?

  6. Medical test was asked to be done once we applied. Didn't actually look like from a case officer but it was asking for medical to be done so that process could continue. I have just read in different places that one doesn't have to do form 80 unless asked..

I have also now heard that we have to go off the new processing times, however I will keep optimistic on these wait times.

  7. Hi all,

When we submitted our application May 2018 (spousal visa 309/100) processing times were 12 to 14 months. The most current which was updated 18 July 2018 is 21 to 26 months- almost doubling our original processing time. I was asked to do medical exam straight away which would make it invalid in 9 months time. Should we be going off the original processing time or this new processing time?

Also, we were under impression that form 80 does not need to be submitted unless requested by case officer. Is this true? We haven't been assigned a case officer yet.

    Thanks for any help!
