With the current topic - can someone provide a link to complain for slow process.

Normal email I have already made and got a standard reply .. that we are processing and will let you know soon.

Please provide the contact info you can.

    Thanks in advance

I emailed immigration on 1st of May about processing time has surpassed ( I was waiting as a cook for 27 months) and if I could get any attention on my file. Not sure if that was a coincidence or they actually looked at my file and refused my nomination the very same day. After waiting for 27 months and I was working full time there for nearly 2.5 years. Giving a ridiculous reason that business can’t afford to pay me for next 2 years.Well I had uploaded all those supporting documents such as payslips, group certificates etc. Maybe it was my bad luck but yeah they have put me 3 years back in my life again. Now I have to wait for another 6-7 months to finish my 3 years exp. to be eligible for new visa options. I suggest you guys to wait for your file to open and let your MARA agent lodge any complaint to immi. However, everyone’s case is different at the same time. Hope you all get your visas soon. Good luck 😊

Quick question : How I can check my nomination granted or not. Should I check on Immi account website after login? or agency only know about that?

When I loged in my immi account, it says "received". It means my nomination is still not assess yet. Is that right? Thank you for any advices.

You can check on your visa status but unfortunately not the nomination. Your MA(if you have one) will inform you about your nomination

    Hi All;

MA is saying to go for AAT for apeal of refused nomination & visa

but I heard that replaying with new nomination &visa is better

I am still on 485 visa - extremly confused what to do.

Both ways will cost me great deal of money.

    Please please suggest

If you have enough experience and a positive skill assessment to apply a new visa then yes you can go for a new one coz AAT processing time is also at its peak (18-24 months). If you are not eligible to apply for a new one then AAT is the only option. If I was you for sure I would have reviewed the decision to be honest. Well we all know money is important but not priority at the moment. Good luck 👍

Anyone know what are the chances of getting visa if nomination approved

mine one approved as chef 10 days ago

    what are chances of visa

99.99% chances. After nomination it’s pretty much your documents they will look at. Afp, medical etc. it’s on the way. Good luck 👍

    Hey guys,

Is it safer to call the immigration about the visa application? ?

I am bit scared......any suggestions would be appreciated.....

My agent said even if i call them its not gonna make any difference.

    Thanks for your help

Hey Jaylia, I did that today. It is safe to call them but pointless as my MA said. They just said you have to wait 😏

You misunderstand me. I’m not comparing everybody’s cases.

i just wondering that is the processing time for nomination and the processing time for visa are the same? Or different?

Cause i read a post of a migration company said nomination take 10-14 months and visa take 21-22. But not sure is this correct or not

I didn’t miss understand you. I just answered in a different way. So, some people get both at the same time depends if they lodged at same time. Some people get nomination quickly and wait a bit longer for their visa which you said you read somewhere. Not 💯 sure if I’m right but that time frame 21-22 months applies to both nomination and visa application. I’m still waiting for my nomination to be approved  since feb 2017. Hope that helps 👍

    Hi guys,

Is anyone know the processing time for nomination and visa are same or different?

i read a post online (cant remember where) said nomination take 10-14 months, and visa is now 21-22 months.

i think nomination is like 80% out of 100% to get approve

If you expect everyone’s case to be similar than you are expecting wrong. Some people got their visas from 2018. On the other hand a few from 2016 and many waiting from 2017.Nomination is 99% I would say 👍

The only thing that matters to me about direct entry 187 visa processing time is because it tells us how far they are keen in processing applications. Based on the rate of grants we have witnessed so far, this visa is neglected. The rate of changes to other visas processing time is drastic but this one remains unchanged. May God help us change our ugly situation.

To be honest I don’t understand how immi works😏 Is it the priority of the occupation that makes them to approve some of the files quickly or the business turnover? Many employers are getting calls from immigration if people are actually working with them when there is no such requirement to work until and unless the visa is granted but let’s just accept that from immi to check if the case is genuine. I have been working full time for more than 2 years already and I was hoping for that phone call but nothing yet. Dunno 🤷‍♂️ what’s coming. I’m hoping for good 😒

Visa applied after nomination 2018 nov

I might be wrong but have seen some similar cases. So, if you applied for visa last month after your nomination approved  then it might take some time not sure how much but you can expect at least 3-6 months. Good luck 👍

Hi everyone, I have a question which is bothering me since I lodged visa through agent. I have asked him but he didn't answer me very clearly or maybe I couldn't understand.

I am a sous chef in our restaurant but I am under the 457 visa as a cook for more than 2years so far, and I only have certificate 4. I applied DE 187 as a cook this February before rules changing. My job description is sous chef job and my title of payslip is a sous chef. Now, I am kinda doing head chef job but I am wondering if my position is a cook but my salary is over 60k would be a risk to get refusal or not really? Agent told me that we shouldn't bring anything as a head chef or sous chef jobs because it will be more complicated, but my title and description are sous. My 187 visa application is a cook.

Could anyone on the same boat or any expert could give me advise, I really appreciate that...

I think your MA is right here that you can’t show them you are working as a chef when you lodged as a cook! These are the small reasons immi is pointing out these days. You gotta show them what you are supposed to be doing not what you actually doing. I have a sort of same situation 👍. Hope this helps
