I have got the interim Medicare card which I have already used twice or thrice after lodging my 190 application.

I have cancelled my 485 health cover because Medicare covers you while you wait for grant.

 

No need to cancel the visa, just go to the Medicare centre with your lodged application confirmation printout and they'll create your Medicare card. Once you get the card you can cancel your health cover as well if you don't want it.

So NAATI doesn't have online test/accreditation? 

No, not for 5 migration points.

by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters.
 
Can I claim those 5 points from overseas? 

No, that exam is not for 5 points. Only the NAATI CCL can give you 5 points which can only be given in Australia and is not available overseas. The other exam is for getting professional accreditation which, if cleared, will be your occupation.

Hi guys, just wondering if there are any Petro/Mining engineers around who are finding their way around the immigration system to obtain Permanent Residency?

 

Would like to know more from your experience as Petroleum has been off the list since 2015 onwards. Hoping it comes back as the prices are back up.
