Hi All... newbie to this forum. Just a quick question, if anyone can help me out. I am due to apply for my 187TRT. My wife is pregnant & she wants to travel home. I was wondering if i can add her as secondary applicant if she is offshore.also if the baby is born before the visa is approved, can i add the baby too as offshore.

Another scenario where the baby is born after the pr is approved, what are my options then.

P.S I am on 457 with the same employer since oct 2016.

Yes u can lodge offshore application for her. But she will not be granted bridging visa to travel back if u lodge offshore application

My nomination refused so my MA apply AAT. Yesterday CO send an email to withdraw my visa file. My MA saying I have to apply AAT for visa also. Is it true? We have to apply AAT separate for nomination and visa file. Please guys give your opinions.

Yes u have to lodge AAT for both. But don’t withdraw your application otherwise you will not have eligibility to apply for AAT. You have to have refusal for ur application as well.

  4. Hi paala

there are bit less chance of approval of student visa as they can refuse for the of genuine temporary entrance. U can still try that if you want. On the other hand, u can let your employer withdraw nomination and let ur visa refused. By this way, at least u can apply aat, federal circuit court and federal court. From here you can buy plenty of time to think about something else. Unfortunately,  when immi will refuse your application, u will be barred from lodging most of the applications onshore in future. So what u have to do is to get bridging visa b, go offshore to lodge any application and come back(u can come back only for permanent visa application such as 187, 190 otherwise u have to stay offshore till decision for rest of the application eg 457, student)

i hope this will help u

Hi, applied for 187 March 2017. Position is Cook. Nomination rejected yesterday.  I applied for this visa off shore because I had a visa refusal before. Now I have nothing left. Age is over 45 and I am a family man. only option is left to apply for AAT. I don't know how long this process take and can get any favourable decision. Has anyone got an idea ?

U can’t apply for aat if you have applied for offshore application. Only your employer can apply for aat.

  6. Hi

i have applied offshore DE 187 as a ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN in Canberra. RCB has been approved prior to lodgement of nomination and visa application (visa and nomination lodged in first week of August 2017).

    status - received

My two previous application has been refused bcz RCB wasn’t granted.

but I didn’t give up. I will Eventually get PR for sure.
