Hiya,

Has anyone else had difficulties getting onto Northern Rivers website ? We have been trying for months (from various devices and locations) to get onto the site and keep getting the same error message.

We have emailed them without response.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to solve it ?

Yes we have an EOI for a 190 & 489 with NSW and will apply as regions open provided I meet work experience requirements

Hi,

Im a RN with 1 year experience and have 65 points for a 189.

We have been on NSW 190 list for almost a year with no movement.

Im now looking into applying for a 489 before it closes but want to double check with you guys if I need more work experience to apply for a 489 in NSW ? My hubby though he had read somewhere you need 5 years but can’t find the website that said this now

I’m just nervous about making a mistake. Our application is quite straightforward I think but I understand that if you make a mistake your application is thrown out, or is that not the case ?

It says on the website they’d be reviewing after June 30th, has anyone with a priority occupation received an invite since ?

Kala, that's longer than the advertised processing times surely?  In January it was 6-8months.

I thought the 6-8 moths was processing after invitation?

Im sure state sponsorship moves quicker if that’s an option for you?

No unfortunately I don’t have enough experience as you need 2 years in practice for a 190. I’m hoping the new financial year hurried things along too.

we’re just about to put in our EOI. I am a nurse with 65 points and have no way to increase this atm.

Just wondering how long others with the same points have had to wait for invitation??
