    Hey Guys,

    One general question:

Do you guys think that the number of approved visas has been slow down do to an after elections situation or because of the end of financial year?

Basically, 2 months ago every day we saw in the forum at least 2-4 visas approved. Nowadays, we can see only 2-4 but per week.

    What are your thoughts?

I think they slow down because of EOFY (end of financial year)

They are probably just making sure  that your employer is adhering to sponsorship obligations.  As business needs to be operating legally etc, paying payroll, Taxes etc...

My company had to provide a breakdown on Australian Citizens / PR / temporary visa employees to immigration - unsure if they requested any further details regarding them though.

Take is as good news because they are looking at your case - once the information is provided you may not have to wait much longer for decision 🙂

Hopefully everything goes Well🤞🏼 In the End

I guess immigration are just looking at your organisation and have requested more information - does your company sponsor many workers? They probably just want to ensure everything is in order etc..

Not really actually they have 2 workshops 1 in regional and 1 in Melbourne all together 4 people sponsored for 457 visa and i am the first one who lodged the PR

  8. After my complaint to Immi got this reply from GFU

Thank you for your email to the Global Feedback Unit seeking an update on the status of the visa application TRN - XYZ

Your complaint has been forwarded to me for an appropriate response.

I wish to advice you that the application is being assessed by a Decision Maker.

While apologising for the delay in finalising the application, I wish to advise that there are a range of factors that can impact the processing time of an application, including checks with third parties to verify claims made in the application, the time it takes to receive additional information from external agencies and national security requirements etc.

The Department’s published service standards for the processing of ENS applications state that 75 percent of the applications will be processed by 12 months and 90 percent of ENS applications will be processed within 13 months of lodgement. However these times can vary on a case to case basis and the departments website provides reasons why all applications may not be processed within the prescribed time frames at; https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times

As soon as all the checks and verifications of the claims are completed the decision maker will finalise the application and you will be advised of the outcome.

    Thanks & regards

For those who are waiting over 14 months , I called and spoke to the home affairs minister's secretary and she advised that we can write to the minister and send through our grievances.

For those at just 13 months wait a little bit. She was friendly and checked my details in the system then provided advise. She said she is not aware when the 10% can be processed …. so better complain .

I have already lodged an official complaint last week. Its been more than 14 months still no updates on my application 😔
