  1. Hello everyone

I follow this forum and yhought share my journey.

I initally applied in Oct 2016 RCB nomination and visa.  RCB approved but nomination got refused in Feb 2017 as MA made numerous errors.  This was the most difficult and stressful time of my life ... i felt i was going to have to leave.

I work as Childcare Educator in ACT myself and 7 other colleagues all refused as she done so many mistakes. We all withdrew and the company got another MA  to complete. We all submitted new applications with more detailed info April 2017 187 DE.

Every month the processing times increase its heart breaking as we are doing everything the right way and by law.

I can only pray we all have good news soon. I considered partner visa with my Australian partner but got told by lawyer as been refused i would only be able to do offshore and this is not worth it.... just hope good news this year.

    Thanks

    Hi All,

I’m new to the tread but thought I’d share my timelines and also ask for thoughts?

RCB/nomination/visa application all applied for at once September 2017

    RCB approved Jan 18

Today I had the request from case officer to do Medicals by mid July.

is this a good sign that they have asked for Medicals? Does it mean someone is looking at my file? Any comments on how long after Medicals you get a decision on visa?

That's weird, did your agent contact RCB? Mine took like 1 month then my agent called RCB, my case officer is on holiday at that time. I have RCB 3 days later. I think the processing time for RCB is on their website.

And I feel you guys, when I applied the time is 12-15, then 15-17, 17-19, 19-21, 21-23 it keeps increasing. I won't be surprise if the processing time is 48 months.

Dont say 48 mths ?. Im praying that they will reduce in next coming months. Havent heard any approvals for long time. Who knows what months applications looking at now !!! Just difficult for us all

    Position: Childcare lead educator

    State:ACT

    Onshore

    RCB: Approved

Nomination: Applied on 15th March,  2017

    Visa : Applied on 30th Jan, 2018

Still waiting and they haven't even opened my folder yet.. It's been15 months since we've applied for nomination.. This frustrates the hell out of me. I wouldn't give a crap, if I don't have to pay full year school fees for my son like some other states ?..

    Hoping for the best!! ?

I am in similar boat ... lodged April 2017. Feels never ending especially as processing times increasing .... what actually applies to us !!!
