Finally got the golden email today!!

December 2017- RCB applied

March 2018- Nomination, Visa applied

August 1 2019 - Immi requested for further documents for nomination

August 21, 2019 - Nomination approved and was asked to do AFP and medical

August 26, 2019 - completed afp and medical

September 19, 2019 - Visa approved

i'm finally graduating this forum. Thank you so much to everyone.

Visa Granted that 16th September 2019

Depends on the case officer. I got asked the same day my nomination was approved. My friend took three weeks after her nomination was approve. Its a case to case basis.

TIMELINE

STUDENT VISA GRANTED FOR COMMUNITY WELFARE WORK 2008 July

class started jan 2009

started work as a cook Asian restaurant 20hours from 2009 july

course finished 2011

Government changed the rule, higher English requirement

started enrolled nurse 2011 to 13

still did not get any options to get PR

enrolled at UNISA  Registered nurse 

DONE VERY WELL ALL SUBJECT REMAIN (5.3 GPA overall)

STUDIED UNTIL FINAL SEMESTER RN

still haven’t got options that time due to my English test. Haven’t got 7 in each

my employer offered nice salary and sponsorship. We applied working visa first 2015 jan . Visa granted on March 

 

and 2017 March  transactionsal streams 186 nominations and visa applied 

feb 2018 nominations refused due to training documents not provide without requesting documents. 

Applied AAT feb2018

start process for skill assessment and got result on dec2018.

applied 187 direct streams feb 19

AAT FILE OPEN  JULY 19 AND WITH OUT ANY HEARING FEVERING FROM AAT. And nomination got approved 25 july 19. And request AFP AND MEDICAL SAME DAY. AFP and medical done by 9 August.

Direct steams file also open and nominations got approved and requested 3 years experience 13 August 19. Submitted by 15 August 19.

now I am waiting for GOLDEN EMAIL. Still showing further assessment on IMMIACCOUNT.

 

 

 

Don't worry, you'll receive a good news soon. I've been asking around and they say it would take 2-3 weeks, but every case is different. No one can tell. Just don't stress yourself too much. If your nomination is approved, you're almost there

If the immigration only asked for police clearance and medical after the approval of nomination, does that mean its getting closer to getting the visa approval?

That's awesome. I've been stressing about this everyday. It wouldn't take months, before they decide on my visa, would it? My afp and medical was already cleared and submitted to immigration. I hope to receive a good news soon.

I just recently got my nomination approved. My occupation is cook. I applied last Feb 2018. Case officer only asked for medical and afp clearance for visa the application. Now, I am a bit worried, because I don't have any working experience after finishing my certificate 4 in cookery, but they only change the working experience requirement in march 2018. Before, the only requirement is that as long as you hold certificate 4, you'll be alright. Does anyone know or think that it might affect my visa application?

Any problems from your side (health, character, skills etc) can be a reason for a refusal. If police check and medical went fine then only grounds would be your eligibility. I think you should be fine, but you’ll just have to wait and see what they say!

Thank you. I applied for my nomination and visa in Feb 2018. The work experience has changed from no experience needed as long as you got australian qualification to three years from March 2018. So I'm just a bit worried about that. I have australian qualification but have no three years experience 🥺

i recently just got my nomination approved.

immigration asked me to do health examination and submit police clearance, i was cleared on both. Now my question is, is there any way that my visa can get refused? If yes, what could possibly be the reason of visa refusal?

Thank you. I've done mine last Monday and it has been 6 business days already. I called the clinic and said that they are still waiting for my xray results from BUPA. So are you just waiting on your visa approval?
