Nomination and PR granted.......... To this forum, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The only thing i can say is that the unknown always causes concern. All of us not knowing are aided and helped by each other so thank you all for you input and advice over the past 9 months. Remember that their is no such thing as a "stupid" question and if the spirit of this forum continues in the way i have witnessed at least we know that support is all around you. My kindest regards and good luck to all .... Madtig

I'm convinced there are 2 factors that come into play here (just my opinion), and that's number of people in the application and if the request is for an HR country.
My company has done many PR's in the past and I had a similar thing happen to me, they asked for updated company documents for the nomination. It has since been approved (the nomination) but it was the first time they requested this (updated) information before approval. Hand tight, it'll come through.
@hex I agree that that may be the issue we are 4 people in the application from HR - and while it remains a mystery to us all we remain for ever optimistic that the PR will be approved I just want to get on with my life one way or the other. lol hanging by a ball hair as they say

CO is putting my MA through the ringer WRT the Company nomination They have now asked for an updated ASIC document as the one that they uploaded was 5 years old - will this ever end I ask - Its clear to the MA that the CO's are becoming very strict as they have never seen this type of requirements B4. My company has already had many PRs approved in the past

Hi,
Can any one please clarify me whether we need to submit the transcripts of my spouse during 186 DE visa process? She didnt have any work experience and even I didnt use her experience in my ACS. She got all other documents except transcripts of her diplomo.
Please clarify if any one had this situation?
Thanks in advance.
Ram.
@Ram I was asked to provide proof of academic transcripts for myself and all family members. I had already submitted the diplomas for all family members - this included schooling as well. I have re submitted all docs of the 15 Aug 2017 and am still waiting for a response.

@hex yeah i thought that would be the way they deal with it - Im still waiting for my nomination to be approved but the CO has opened the file at least. Where in the immi account did you see where the account has been updated - what page is that ? I will keep an eye out for that section then

@Madtig I noticed that my application had been updated with today's date... But I couldn't see any changes.
When I then asked the Agent - they said that this was because the nomination attached to my application was approved, hence, updating my 186.I would have expected to have seen it in the documents or messages or something, but it looks like there is nothing changed on my personal application.

Update on my case;
I've just received news that my nomination was approved today (8th October).
Hoping the good news is followed soon...Could you please let me know what your ETA was from nomination, to visa approval was? (I know this is ballpark, but I'm looking for others experiences).
Additional docs were requested on the 30th August (for both visa and nomination) - which were then sent early September.Congrats big step forward, pleased to see another Saffer in the group. I still think its a lotto - some people same day others freaking ages - will be holding thumbs for you

Hi All
Its really tough and we all need empathy for each other in this group. Whilst we all may feel that our lives are on hold, I still hang onto the positive thought that once the visa is approved how life will not only change for me personally but for my family in the future. Living in Australia for the past five years has opened my mind to a world of possibilities and I guess now that I have tasted the mind blowing quality of life that Australia offers, my greatest fear is not being granted the honour of living in such a magnificent country. So I guess while this is hard to digest I will continue to live every the most amazing life I can in this country and try my hardest to put my mind at ease while we all endure this very stressful wait. In saying that, those of you in the group that have been waiting for (in some cases over two years) I feel your pain and this is just a shout out to us all to ask each other - R U Ok on R U OK day and remind each other that we should ask the same question of each other every day when we log in to this forum and our IMMI accounts to see if potentially our status has changed one way or the other.

Good idea! I also like the idea of having a "congratulations" emoticon.
That way we can all use the emoticon, instead of separate, one word - "congrats" posts?Done

Has anyone been requested to do medicals, even though there are already medicals have been done and still valid. Is it possible they didn't get them / need them resent somehow?
We did our medicals and the practitioner apparently forwards them to the Visa?

All i know is that in my Immi account the Dr sends the report to Immigration and it reflects on your immi account as no further action required once done

Does anyone here know how important qualification(s) are on a 186 TRT. I've heard that with a TRT, it's not important at all, as you meet the work experience.
With DE, I know you need a Skills assessment. I'm more curious to know if they even care in the TRT - from what i've heard, they don't / shouldn't.
I have just had to provide Academic transcripts for all applicants proving the marks that were received for each qualification

CO requests the following
All my Tax returns from 2014 to 2018
Copy of Company Structure
Copy of Company Org Chart
Position Discription
Copy of contract
Copy of Company consolidated financial position
Full copy of academic transcripts for all applications(4 people HR)
Copy of AFP - even though this has been submitted already
Looks like they really are looking into things very closely indeed MA says that he has never experienced this level of detail and they are a very reputable MA company

So this may be a new one for us all re the visa application with regards to"evidence of English ability
If you have completed all your schooling in English as well as your higher education all you had to do was get a letter from the institution that stated that you did xxx amount of years and that the course was conducted in English
This applied to me, my partner and my two adult children
CO told MA via IMMI that we now have to provide "academic transcripts in support of the completed studied claimed"
This means that if you got a degree you have to provide a transcript of the results by subject
Also when submitting your evidence of schooling you have to provide the transcript that you would have recieved such as you A levels and O levels by subject and mark received

Dear All
Dec 17 applicant, file now open and CO allocated - request for AFP for my adult daughter that was submitted by MA as a decision ready application and Evidence of English Language ability for myself, partner and two adult children again all docs were submitted in Dec ? Have sent docs to MA and have asked them to resubmit within 28 days - lets see how long that will take
Keep holding thumbs for ALL of us
