  1. Hi guys,

I applied 187DE on Feb 21,2018 Cook Vic

I am the only one cook working here.

Yesterday I got a call from my agent saying that Home Affairs have found information for which they can refuse my Employer Nomination.

    He told me he can provide a strategic plan to achieve an Employer Nomination approval, though He make no guarantees. Therefore, He have two fee structures as follows;

    1) $2,500.00 payment unconditional the outcome.

    2) $3,500.00 no win no fee. (Fully refunded if the Employer Nomination is not approve.

I talked to my owners today and the reason was because pub is on sale from before I applied which both me and my agent didn’t know about this.

I also cant blame my owners because I am the first whom they sponsered. And they didn’t know anything about this visa before.

My owners took off  tha sale from website today and told me it takes one day to remove from it.

I’m happy that they didn’t reject directly and gave us 9 days time to submit more information.

I’m also happy to pay $3500 to my agent but I’m afraid if my nomination get rejected.

I want to know if there’s any other who are, were in this situation. Your help will be very important for me.

    Thanks!

Hi Guys. Got my golden email yesterday.. Applied im May2017 as Restaurant manager. Nomination was approved in last week of September 2018 and they asked for AFP, Indian PC,medical and relationship evidence with my partner and also his Ielts. Docs were submitted on October 8 and we got PR yesterday. Finally all my prayers have been answered.. I had been a silent follower of this forum since last year and it had given me a lot of hope throughout this journey.. May everyone get their visas very soon. Thanks

Hi, anyone knows how much it cost for AFP? My agent sent me receipt of $156.82 but thought it’s $42.

People are waiting from 2016 . To be honest depends on your luck , I also lodged on same date , nomination approved 31st oct next day open my file and request for new afp despite of my previous  afp is still valid . Don’t know how long 🤞

Well what I’m saying is thats the global processing time. And 80-90% people got their visa around that time. All people are not lucky like you mate. I also applied on Feb 2018 and I’m happy for you but I still think it takes a long time to get my visa.

    Refer to the quoted documents

there are two different guys they work under the same employer and applied the visa with same MA

the first guy applied in Feb 2017 and another guy applied in Feb 2018

but both of them got the nomination approved on the same day.

Thats what happened to my friend as well 3 cooks applied at the same restaurant one at 2016 oct and others on july 2017. While opening the file from oct 2016, CO called owner and asked if he wants to open other 2 files at the same time. Owner said yes opened all the files at the same time and all got their PR at the same time on May 2017.

Absolutely incorrect. Even if you work 20 years for them the 2 years count from the day you were granted the visa. We are waiting for 187 DE too and have an awesome agent who told us the 2 years AFTER the visa grant is the condition of the RSMS: you are obglided to stay with the employer after you get the visa. The time you spend with the employer BEFORE is beneficial and can make your case stronger, but does not count in the 2 years. You can change employer if you have to but have to remain in regional Australia (your next job has to be regional too). If you leave earlier the Employer who nominated you can report you to DoHA.

If you are on a permanent contract you are entitled to sick and holiday leave, should be to maternity too. Read your contract for details.

Also the payslip is very much required and our Agent uploads then every quarter along with the financial statements. It’s untrue that 187 DE needs no supporting documents, it actually needs quite a lot as it is direct entry. We’ve uploaded heaps of docs to support the applications and it still doesn’t mean it’s decision ready. They can always come up with something to request and if you show them payslip with less then 35 hours or inadequate pay, I’d say you’re in trouble.

Good to know you have the Partner visa as an option ? enjoy your pregnancy.

That’s not true. You have to work at the nominated place full time at least 2 years whether its before or after the visa grant. So to make it confirm you have to sign the contract with your employer. So when you leave after 2 years that contract will be your proof. My employer and MA had done many 187 before and both of them told me the same thing that 2 years count from when I started to work as full time.
