As you may note from my name, I am a silent reader of this forum for the last 6 months.

I was blessed to receive the phone call and email notifying me of my PR grant today

Recruitment Consultant, LR, 1 person, 186 DE

Nomination lodged 12/12/2017, application lodged 19/12/2017

Nomination and visa grant 17/05/2018 - application was decision ready, no documents requested by CO.

First I know and appreciate that I am incredibly lucky to have been granted PR in 5 months almost to the day.  I realise this may be little consolation for some of you with waits in excess of 12+ months, and I can only apologise for that, I do think occupation does have a massive influence on which applications are prioritised, (on MA's advice).  I wish you all the best for the future though if I am honest, some of you do need an attitude adjustment, (no names).

Please continue to be nice to each other and hold onto the positive vibes, I promise your day will come and this challenging journey will be worth it. Thank you all for your unwitting support, it helps more people than you all know  ❤️

    Peace x ?

    Congratulations

I would say: forecast, and to be certified by a certified independent accountant with corresponding letter from him, business plan- expansion plan and explanation why is your business spending more than it's making, evidence that, despite spending more than it's making , it can afford a foreigner on a PR for the following years, and solvency declaration by company director/s. That is what comes in my mind. Operating at a profit isn't always an indicator of how good a company is going.

Thank you, we have done a letter from an accountant, supporting letter from our clints for our business which shows booking for next year as we accomodation based company. I will definately get our director   to write a explaination.

Some one here in  fourm with very wise idea, that helps  people moving forward. My request to everyone please share your ideas and problems, which would be a solution for someone. Thank you?

Hi.. my company is showing loss for 2 years as well but explainable and we showed 2-3 years forecast demonstrating recovery and revenue increase + tax accountant letter supporting the growth. I have not received any answer yet from them but I am hopeful. You could reapply for the nomination and add additional documents showing that despite the loss the company is operative and solvent. Many companies ( especially the ones part of groups under same shareholder) operate at a loss for tax reasons.

I did apply in the past to ATT because my 457 nomination was refused, but then I withdrew the application as I have resubmitted the nomination with further documents.

I am in same situation too. We are  registerd  as a small business in a country town. I am a only one  staff here. Company is in a loss in 2016   and 2017 as well. We are spending more money to expand the business than we making. The last 2 recent BAS arw not showing very good amount . So we haven't updated to the immigration.we are pretty  sure we have very good looking Bas that due in july but if they start looking the nomination  application before that ,what kinds of documents would be  helpful to  keep them update if anyone knows . Cheers

Because i was on student visa before 457 and i was doing MPA. And i want to finish my masters instead of leave in the middle, so i took permission to my employer to finish my masters. And finally i done.

That wouldn't harm to ask your MA, to make sure you are on the right track .what would be the issues if you not working full time  because  you are studying and being paid market salary as a full time worker at the same time. Not sure , what they would look at, but always better to make sure before start

    Hi mate,

Not experts here but my wife had to undertake the IELTS  as well, as the second applicant.
I believe she had to have at least 4 or 5 everywhere (just basic English).

As always...check with your MA :-)

I think an answer for your first question is if you

If You are a passport holder from Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America

You have completed at least five years of full-time study in a secondary or higher education institution where instruction was conducted in English.

i believe she doesn't need. If not he has to undertake  . Cheers
