Finally I have received my 189 visa grant.

Good luck to all who are waiting, it will come soon to you, because it has to

everything was going good, they were processing the applications and they stopped at 24th December

my visa fee date is 26th December 2017, I dont know when will they pick up the case

I am very pleased to let you all know that we got our visas! Our agent was out of the office so we only got the letter today but they were actually granted yesterday. Our lodgement day was 22nd December 2017 and our entry date must be before the 27th December 2018. We will be moving to Sydney in approx. a month time. Good luck to all of those who are still waiting for their grants. They will come soon!

We are still waiting for ours (submitted on the 22nd Dec) but I could see loads of December grants today so hopefully they continue at this rate and we get ours soon! Fingers crossed!

I saw an applicant from 22nd December 2017  got the CO contact, "Did you receive your grant"  ? Feeling Positive  

happy to see grants but not sure, why no response for my application, I am nervous!!

that completely depends on how well and fast they can comprehend the documents submitted and how fast the background check if finished, I believe.

improvement in the pace at which grants are being issued

I believe you, but the current stats are all different

one more grant issued, its making me impatient to know whats going on 

The onshore applicants have been contacted from December and January, I am not sure, if onshore applicants gets priority !!

I agree with Cristina,  if DHA is able to finish the background check early for claims made, the grants are immediate and vice versa

Surprising to see direct grant to a 19th January 2018 applicant !!! Is it really possible ?? or some error

DIBP has initiated processing applications beyond 26th November 2018, recently saw grants for 27th November 2018 applicants. Fingers Crossed for December applicants !!
