Hi everyone today I got the email from immi to provide further doc for my husband and stage 2 visa . Immi asked for afp check .
question my husband legally changed his name but didnot updated his passport . We already supplied name change to immi .
if I apply for afp should I put his name as per his passport or as per his change of name . Plz guys help .You have to put both the names as they will specifically ask you if applicant was known by any other name. So put both his names in the application.

Hi guys.
My wife got her visa this week Alhumdulillah.
DOL: Feb 09, 2019
Grant Date: Oct 21, 2019
Location: Islamabad
Interview: No
She received a call last week to provide updated PCC, which she uploaded on Saturday and hence on Monday got the grant notification email.
For all those who are applying/have applied: Please make sure you are uploading all the relevant documents, you are provided with 100 attachments, make use of them.
Employment and education details etc. Pictures are a must as well. And the statements in the form of essays help too.
Thanks.
Congratulations Hammad

Hi All,
I am applying for my 309 visa online. One question that I have is that how should I submit photos together? For those who submitted online, did you print and scan them or just combined them and uploaded? Please guide me about it. Thanks in advance
The best is to use a compression software to compress the size of photos than combine all the photos in PDF and upload. There is size limitation so make sure the PDF size doesn't exceed 5Mb.

still waiting so any one can told me about visa grant timeframe after intetview
It varies from case to case, i have seen some people getting in just a day after the interview while some had to wait for 2 to 3 months.
Did they ask you for any additional document after the interview?

And the problem is I don't know anyone here to an extent to witness Form 888
The below note is on Form 888 i hope that helps
Note: If the visa applicant is outside Australia and is unable to have an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident complete this form, any person who knows the applicant and their partner or fiancé(e) may also complete this form.

@Hasj if you don't mind me asking, whats the procedure to apply for a sponsored tourist visa? Is it online or do you need to submit paperwork to some Human Affairs office in Australia?
How long of a visa did they apply for your spouse? Did they ask you to put down a bond deposit?
@Andy It's the same as the normal tourist visa you have to do it online using your immi account but you have to select the family sponsor option. And for the bond it varies from case to case like in my case they didn't ask for the bond. I asked for 6 months visa but they granted 3 months only.

Hi can you please tell how easy it is to get a visit visa to Australia while your 309 one is in process? What do they ask in the interview for the visit visa?
I think it’s not that difficult as long as supporting evidence is complete. There was no interview for visit visa and I applied for family sponsored one.

Hi Does anyone know that for visa grant both your Medical and Police clearance certificate should be valid?
As i have heard from multiple people that if either of them is expired AHC will ask you to renew it before making any decision on your visa.
Thanks.
