Does anyone know if we have been stood down from a job ( not laid off or made redundant) . The time we spend waiting, say 6 months or so to go back to the job when it reopen for business, does this time will be counted towards our 2 year obligation? I'm confused because we haven't broken the service with our employers but at the same time not getting paid ( unpaid leave ) 🤔🤔

I called 131881 last week and the lady said if they didn’t fire you, you are still on their book during this period.

If you don’t mind please call this number and let me know if you have another answer or not. 😅
I asked my boss to register the job keeper. Your boss should do so as well.

Congrats to y'all for making it through 2019 and for all the remaining ones yet to hear back from immi!

We are almost there, hang on our time will be coming too!

A friend was given 28 days to provide its health check which he did and police clearance, however the police clearance is taking longer and as such, the 28 days will come to an end very soon... is there a possibility to request for an extension and show that he requested the certificate from his country?

Any info I could pass on to him would be great, he will be reading you guys.

    Thanks heaps

As far as I know he needs to provide the evidence that he has applied for the police clearance e.g. an official receipt within 28 days.

    Hi guys,

I received an email from immi ask me to “ invitation to comment on adverse information”. In that email they said that on 20 July 2018, they found on company website our phone number and they called for interview, they said they talked to our company HR manager and that lady said that she didn’t know about me and my nominated position. However,

    1. Our company don’t have HR department or HR manager, my director in charge in recruitment as well. Also they can see on company’s chart there is no HR department.

    2. They didn’t mention the name of the lady that they interviewed

    3. They said the interview made in july 2018, that mean one and a half years ago, why they just let us know before yesterday.. it’s so weird

they give us 28 days to explain.. my boss is really angry now.. we are waiting from 11/2016 until now. My MA and my boss will fight for it..

I’m just wondering any chance for me to get my nomination and visa approve, we don’t want to give up.. almost 3 years already 😢

    Omg that’s so strange.

I provided some selfies with my shop, the tax invoices I issued to my clients, the picture of our certificates stuck on the wall together (my boss’s, my colleague’s and mine) so IMMI didn’t have a chance to question about I was at the shop or not.

    Good luck... 🤞🏻

Quit after two years please. 🤞🏻
After that you can do everything.

I know it’s very shit to be sponsored but I won’t risk it...

I tried to access the file by making my own acc and by all information in the bridging visa+ acknowledging letter of the application from immi, but couldn’t get anything. As I found out from the internet, it had to be the account that u log the application. If you can access by that way, can u please help me with details?

After you login to your immi account you need to “import application”. 😊

That's awesome. I've been stressing about this everyday. It wouldn't take months, before they decide on my visa, would it? My afp and medical was already cleared and submitted to immigration. I hope to receive a good news soon.

    ☺️

Hopefully you can call Aussie home very soon. 😊

    Hi.

I just recently got my nomination approved. My occupation is cook. I applied last Feb 2018. Case officer only asked for medical and afp clearance for visa the application. Now, I am a bit worried, because I don't have any working experience after finishing my certificate 4 in cookery, but they only change the working experience requirement in march 2018. Before, the only requirement is that as long as you hold certificate 4, you'll be alright. Does anyone know or think that it might affect my visa application?

    Thanks

You will be alright because my colleague and I didn’t have 3 years experience when we applied. We applied in Jan and Feb 2018 respectively.

    Hello Guys.

Does contacting department by yourself for the awaiting result, is a good idea or not?

Do you think that can upset your employer or migration agent ?

Does contacting by yourself can make your case more negative ?

Have anybody contacted by them self ?

My advice is don’t do that😂. Last time I just changed my address by myself then my agent was really angry🤣.

Because a little mistake can mess everything up.

If you have an agent, please consult them before doing anything.

  11. 24/1/2018 Applied RSMS

    21/6/2019 Requested info for nomination

7/7/2019 Requested info for visa - Aussie AFP, hk Police check, medical

    8/7/2019 Nomination approved

Aussie AFP and health check was done quickly...but I messed up my fingerprints the first time I did in Perth so I needed to go again and get the new one two weeks later

Luckily my mum got the receipt from hk Police headquarter last week...I was so worried about my mum going out because hk Police and hk gangs are friends 😭😭😭

2/8/2019 Submitted hk Police check receipt and explanation by my agent

    so stressful

i lodged my 187 ( off shore)on Jan 2018 and yet didn't get any update. I'm working full time there and I'm doing another job for tax as quick money . Is this going to affect on my file. ??

I don’t think so. As far as you work full time there to show genuine need, you can work as many part time jobs as you can. From my understanding.

Hey that was just a joke...but from what I have observed ever 3 months there is a certain occupation that is granted more than others... I've seen Restaurant Managers / Retail Managers get their visa Dec-Feb, the Mar-May there were lots of Child care related occupations that got their visa's and now it's Cooks/Chef may be they will be lots more till August...of course this is just my observation...I could be wrong 🤔

I think it’s hairdressers and massage therapists’ turn now. 😁

  14. Immi requested police check (Hong Kong+Aussie) and body check on 7/7/2019 then Nomination was approved on 8/7/2019...

very stressful because of my fingerprints (I am a massage therapist so ten of my fingerprints were with bad quality 😂 as per the consultant said so she made two sets of fingerprints for me to send out)

but my bro said it will be fine (he was a police in Hong Kong years ago)

    My shoulders are so tense💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️

will update after I hand in all the stuff to my agent

best regards to my brothers and sisters here🍀

    Hi guys,

I don’t want to bring bad news but here is the updates from my agent:

For last few weeks, the refusals of nominations have been increased and will extend to more nomination applications. Most of the refusal reasons are not a genuine position without asking for further documents. It’s means CO open the case and refuse straightaway. This must be because of Immi has a limit of visas grant for each year, also this November 187 is out so they might want to leave some spaces for new applicants and get rid of those that have been waiting for years.

My company got requested for more info for the nomination. Very stressful now. But at least they asked. Hopefully my agent can write something very powerful like the turnover went up very much since we came. 🙏🏻 Pray.

And also, did you reply back when they reply your complaint? Because I got reply of my complaint today, but I don’t know what to reply.

However, please be assured that I have progressed your application with the allocation of a decision maker. It will processed as quickly as possible. The decision maker will be in contact with you or your nominated authorised recipient should they require any further information.’

I got this reply, but I’m not sure how long does it usually take after my application is allocated to a decision maker. they just say decision make will deal with my case, just very stressful and worried. And also don’t know what to reply.

Maybe something like “received with thanks” with proper email format and try to be as polite as possible to them because they are like the god...😅

I'm happy to work for him for 2years or until he sells the business.

Will this effect me if I step into other job.

    Thanks
