I understand. I read the forum and see how people are tired of waiting. The change in April 2017 does also affect me and I had to re do IELTS test according to new regulations. So stressful because I had to handle both work and studying.

My occupation had been also removed from the list but as I am a previous 457 so it wont affect my 186 application.

what is the job title you applied under?

I entered the application number that I have it from Acknowledgement of Application but still No Results show. I don't understand why?

I also applied for an Interim Medicard and it already arrived after just one week.

Not sure, why its not working sorry, that was the same number i entered. Maybe the MA have locked it or something, no idea how it all works. Maybe ask them if they are able to login and share the application with you to your immmi account so you can get access and see any updates etc. sorry i can't be of more help.

  3. I wish on the immi website there was a public record of every visas published every day, i would imagine this would be a problem from a privacy perspective.

it would be great even to see details such as 457 or 189 or 186 granted, the time frame and job title, just to get an idea of what is getting through the system.

    Any grants on 1 March?

Haha i think we are all pretty hopefully about today. i looked into immi this morning thinking i would see a magical new interface, however nothing has changed. Apart there will be changes made to immi on saturday, March 3rd, as the site will be down from friday night to saturday morning.

May I ask how did you link your application which submitted by your MA to your Immi Account. Because when searched my application number in Immi Account, it said that "No result". I assume that because my application submitted via agent, therefore only agent could view the application process?

Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

Hi, i just entered the application id number i have from when the application was submitted and then entered that. it shows up as received however i think my ma can see a lot more on their end.

    How to import immi details?

will it impact on MA account ?

just curious to know what’s happening with my account and visa ?

i imported my details to immi and it didn't impact the MA account as they still have all of the access, to be honest i can't see anything on my end i think its only if the MA shares the application then you can see more details, from what i have read from previous posts.

My application is on the STSOL and nomination was approved on the 7th Feb (Retail Buyer) for Direct Entry.       I was asked to take the medical on the 7th Feb, which I did on the 14th Feb and results were uploaded on the 15th Feb.     Now just waiting for them to go back into my application...........

were you asked to retake your medical?

Thanks for your advice. Another question is my medical check is going to expire by this week. Is it necessary to redo the check?

I would ask your ma for advise if you are using one. Mine has expired and my ma said not to get a new one unless asked. From what I have seen on previous posts they seem to have  potential extra 6 months on them however it’s all to the co discretion

  9. Has anyone had any feedback from their MA in regards to applications being processed quicker once we are in March?

my ma has been saying for the last month how busy the department are due to everyone submitting applications before the march 1 deadline, which makes me think that surely after march 1st they will be less busy and can hopefully process applications that have been sitting there well over the processing times posted on website.

Just curious to see if anyone else is having similar feedback from their ma's?

Wonder if i am just telling myself that in march applications will magically start being granted to try and keep sane. When i lodged last March i honestly thought it would come through in three months hahahahahaha!

Guys, I really need your advice here. Do you think it helps to call CO at this critical time as it’s reaching March. My MA actually emailed them for the updates at the end of 28 days waiting period, but no response yet after a week. I’m getting extremely stressed out but can’t do anything as My MA just asked me to wait and not to call CO. Maybe it’s the NZ consent to disclosure of information that takes longer time to allow the department to seek confirmation from NZ. If anyone have the same situation, please share with me.

to be honest you are better now waiting until at least March 1 as i  have a feeling they will be really under the pump for these last two days before the changes, hopefully after march 1st things will get a bit calmer over there, and we will all start to get some good news.

My ma told me that he attended immigration meeting. They said the applications that over 12 months waiting period are high risk.

    great

Did your ma say what they meant by high risk?

so frustrating, if they didn’t leave applications in that long then they wouldn’t be seen as high risk, whatever that means

Any good news today? Preferably from somone who has been waiting a long time and not 3 months haha!

Haha I know, happy for people getting their visa but can be frustrating when you have been waiting 11.5 months and theirs goes through in 3.

im really hoping as of the 1st some of the marketing applications get pushed through

  13. so frustrating, my ma keeps saying they are really busy because of the approaching march 1st changeover, which makes me think not many visas are getting approved this month.

i wonder if that will change in march. even if there are a large influx of new applications this month through before the March 1st date, i don't see how that should technically affect current applications as we know that applications don't get assessed straight away and instead sit in a long que. Logically you think this would cause a huge delay 6-8 months down the line.

  14. i followed up with my ma agent today to ask if i should get a new medical check bearing in mind it ran out at end of Jan and she said not to worry as it is to the case officers discretions.

I also wanted to follow up about the information we submitted on tuesday (the third lot of info regarding nom submitted since oct last year) she said they have asked for it to be finalised as soon as possible.

I want to call the processing team again, as sometimes you can get someone really lovely and helpful on the phone and they tell you more info, however i called them last friday.

My application has been in 11.5 months now.

i really just hope that the new information submitted does not go into the 28 day due, i really find that process so frustrating.

Has anyone had different experiences ringing the processing team?

i also just linked my application to my immi account, the ma told me that they had it linked to their account as they are handling the nomination for the sponsor also. the application now linked is just showing as received, which seems strange as i know they are processing, reviewing documents.

i know the department is short staffed and are having to deal with a huge workload, however with the cost of each visa being around the 4k mark, surely they can afford to hire more people. to be honest i would happily pay an extra 1k to department and have the application fee increased to $5k if it meant the processing times were not so long
