We didn’t really find out until we got our Pr visas granted in April (had our Medicals done in January) but we had a new born daughter in December, who we added to the visas & she had to have her medical at the end of February so it may have delayed our grant.. if it helps mine was processed straight away while my partner’s took longer on the system to process (he’s had a past slipped disc & psorrihosis) & it was mine we were worried about. Hopefully you’ll hear sooner but try not to worry, I just had in my head that everything happens for a reason & there’s nothing you can do now. I’m sure it will be fine, let us know how you get on. Good luck!!

Yes i am in Australia already have been for two years. Yes i did use e medical.   I Will do deedee. Let the anxious waiting begin then! Thanks for your replies people!

For us, the physician told us that if we hadn’t heard anything from them in 2 days, then we can assume all is well.

On the second day after the medicals, our agent informed us they had been uploaded and finalised on the system.

    Good luck!

Thanks bran! One day down, one to go then i suppose. I just hope my uc isn't going to be the bit that let's me down. Thanks for the reply, very nervous pom here ?

I'm sure they'll consider that.. A lot of people have something wrong with them, they can't not let everyone in with a medical condition. Try not to worry, although I know it's easier said than done. The Dr wasn't phased by my Crohns diagnosis... Maybe take a reference from your boss stating how little sickness you've had, I did this but can't remember if it was needed. Good luck!!

Thanks for that. I had my medical this morning. Can't say im a fan of the process. Can I ask what visa you went for deedee & persainharry? Im still not feeling great about the out come.

  4. Thanks for that. I am a roofer which is a physical trade in which im sponsored in & my boss knows about my uc, so working full-time & paying tax. I don't take time off, i go to the gym as well so can hardly say im unfit to pass the medical. The only reason i had a flare in the first place is I ran out of meds in Australia & didn't understand the health care system by this time was too late. My gp letter refers this. Been in remission ever since flare lasted 10 days, been completely fit & healthy for over 12 months.  I really hoping I don't get refused. Im terrified. Thanks for your insight.

  5. Thanks for the replies. I have letter from my referring gp & my last specialist (addressed to my gp) report that was done a couple November expressing im stable on these medications & my dose of medication is being reduced over time.

Yes it is just the brand name your write.

Im so worried I will fail. Me & my missus what to start a life here (she has pr) so scared I will loose her.

Does it sound like im prepared enough deedee & persianharry?
