I'm not from your council but my timeline is somewhat similar to yours.
Applied: 13 Feb 2019
Request Additional doc (overseas police clearance, submitted same day): 08 May 2019
Test Email: 13 May 2019
Test Date : 27 May 2019
Still awaiting approval as well
My applicationis being processed as per their current standard process so no streamlined business, but I'm ok with this.
Hi Tanwi,
could u please tell me about ur integrity screening outcome result in ur FOI. As I mentioned my one is Exempt. I just want to know does it exempt for every one who applied in 2019.
Kind Regards

Yeah not too many applicants from Northern Tasmania. I only applied recently in mid June 2019. Haven't received anything from the department as of yet. I realise most applicants wait a long time for test invite, but your case gives me hope. Also glad to see that your test was scheduled roughly about a month from the invite. I have heard Melbourne applicants getting an invite for test but it being scheduled for next year 2020. Some say they can reschedule their test earlier but I don't believe that is an option with us in Launceston. Hopefully you will get approval soon and ceremony wait time shouldn't be long compared with those on the mainland.
Did you take the test at the Launceston Dept of Human Services and if so did you go to the Centrelink office or somewhere else? Thanks again for providing your info and I will definitely update you if anything changes with my timeline.
As I saw, most people who applied from tasmania recive test date within in 4 months. So I think u will be recived ur test date soon.I saw some one who applied in jun 2019 got apprival in Jul 2019 and another one who applied in march 2019 got his citizenship certificate after having his ceremony in july 2019. I think tasmania is little bit faster than mainland.Yes as u said we couldn't resedule the test date and test was held at centrlink office
Kind regards

I can't provide much help but noticed the FOI stated Launceston. Are you applying from Launceston? Just inquiring since that is where I am applying from. Do you mind sharing your timeline such as when you applied and when you received a test invite to give me a possible idea how long it may take. Thanks.
it is glad to see someone from Launceston. Because this is the first time I saw someone who applied from Launceston in all these forums and fb pages.
My timeline is
10/03/2019 -applied online
20/03/2019 - requested aditional documents (original birth certificate and 1399 form)
26/03/2019 - document submited
09/05/2019 - test date received
12/06/2019- test
Still waiting for approval.
Could u please tell me ur timeline too.
Kind regards

I also got my FOI back. Risk check still undertermined, so I'm guessing for you at least ya'll have had your risk assessed and I guess they will clear it up soon.
Hi, I think so. after recording risk check match they requested aditional documents. And after submitting documents they have mentioned that intigrity screening outcome is exempt. So i think everything is ok.
Kind regards

If someone can give a clarification, I really appriciate that. we are little bit worry about this risk check is matching and biometric match results is pending(amber).
Kind regards

Hello everyone...i applied for rsms as chef last year in june and on brindging visa since then. My rcb got approved but waiting for nomination and visa. I was studying in victoria so was not able to start my job from where I applied rsms. My study finished last week and now I am moving to nsw to start my job as chef there. My MA said that it is not mundatory to start employment before to get visa approval. But I am just little confuse that will it effect my visa in future although I have submitted my certificates to immigration. I did mention to immigration while putting my application on form 80 that studying " doing bechlors". Plz help me ...all my friends are saying that it will effect on ur visa.
One of my friends applied as a graphic designer when he was in the student visa in last november. He got his visa in last march before expireing his student visa. He didnt start work there until he got the pr. If now u can work full time, i think it is better to start work there because these days everything depends on the case officer.

Thank you ?

How to know if co is allocated or not? Yes, my agent said the medical check was requested by immi. But it is unbelievably fast! If I can hear a good news within a month that would be fantastic! ?
Do you know if the occupation and state affect the application or not?
I can’t expect too much because I don’t want to feel too disappointed. ?
btw thank you! Good luck to you too!
We also applied on nov 2017. Our nomination was approved in feb 2018. And co requested documents at the same day for visa. Our process is also too quick.
thank you ??

It is impossible We applied the nomination and visa together just 1 month ago.
Hi
Was case officer allocated for your file ? If case officer was allocated, they won’t get too long to process your file. You has mentioned that IMMI asked you to go for the medical check .I think it means case officer was allocated for your file, wasn’t it ? I think we will be able to hear a good news within next few weeks ????
Thank you.

Nothing......Maybe I will hear something 2 weeks later because it is 28 days after my medical? Idk
I am happy to wait until the people before me are settled as it is fairer.
I am just afraid if they let me wait and give me nothing at the end.Was ur nomination approved ? As I think if ur nomination was approved. No need to worry about ur visa.
Thank you ?

Did it mean anything as immi asked us for something? We are on 476 visa and applied onshore. Our x-ray result was reused.

No, our agent suggested we get them done and ready early so they were available if anyone picked up our file. No case office that I'm aware of. Sounds like you are ahead of me in the never-ending queue.
Oh. Thank you SianChloe for your information. I thought it will take 1 year for process even after allocating a case officer.
Thank you.
