Hi All. I am back !! I just re-applied my 186 with TRT stream. My previous 186 - DE got refused in Feb- 19.
The last few months were a rollercoaster of a difficult ride. But I came out strong and decided to reapply.
God is kind and works in mysterious ways, so here I am.
Good luck to all of you who are in a similar boat as mine. Good luck to all of us who are waiting. Please keep me in your prayers too.
One thing I would like to mention here : People who are anxious about the processing times, Guys please be patient ! Some people are in priority occupation list, so there application gets processed faster. For rest of us, it takes longer ! But right on processing time. They get processed by the end of the mentioned time frame given in the department website. Mostly never longer than that, unless there has been an issue with the application or the employer.
This I say, with my personal experience and mostly from what I have seen with others.
Also if any one has included adult dependant child over 20 in their application and had no issues, please let me know.
Thanks for reading.
CHEERS
My son is 19 and my Daughter is 22, had no problems, PR granted on 3/5/19

How long did it take to get approved since you reapplied? did you re do the medical checks and police checks?
did u request for a refund?
I had my nomination approved and medicals completed, after that I had to withdraw the visa application and re apply, using the same nomination and medicals
it took 12 months to be approved. medicals had expired by 2 months, but they did not request for new medicals.

Thanks a lot Eva. Just another question, i was advised my case will be reviewed on the 6th of June and if still not withdrawn it will be refused. the question is i have withdrawn and re-applied. When do you think this will be processed? i am sure it will not take much longer right? any approximate time frame as this is a re-application. i think it will be approved on the 6th June as the new application will be linked to the nomination right?
It will be treated as a new application, mine took 12 months

I have a child who is turning 18 years in June this year. Does anyone know what consequences this may have on the visa application (assuming we don't get it by then).
I do not have an MA to ask cause I have applied for the visa on my own.
If your child turns 18 that's no problem, I had the same issue.

Hey Ratu,
The nomination is valid for 6 months so yes you can apply for the visa using the existing nomination approval. Rather than waiting for your visa to be refused you can withdraw your application and re apply.
I had the same problem, I just withdrew my application and lodged a new one with the same nomination.
and got the golden email on 3/5/19

@steve 007 Yep, then this goes with my thoughts.
My opinion and experience is based off a CO making direct contact, as they did with @@dream_aus.
- I suspect they would have a quicker response.I think you are wright!

I think a new CO is allocated if we apply again.
New Application means, file will be treated as new.

@steve 007 Did you also get directly contacted from the CO (phone call)? If so, this would be the first case I've heard of taking so long after contact and "correcting" the issue.
NO, Through my Agent.

@@dream_aus That is unfortunate, however, if you look on the plus side - you've been contacted directly from a CO, this typically means that are actively looking at your case.
I've seen this before (more than once), whereby after the mistake is rectified, the application is granted almost immediately.
- Not saying that WILL absolutely happen, however, I think you'd have a good chance.
My opinion would be to resubmit as quick as possible and sort out the finances (and the person at fault / liable for payment) later.
Good luck!
Its not about the 6000, Your Application will be treated like a new one.

Same thing happened to me, My Agent submitted my IELTS last year with a score of 5 in reading and 6.5 to 8 in the rest.
My Nomination got approved, medicals completed , and then I had to withdraw my visa application and pay another 7,300 and
resubmit the application in April last year. still waiting further assessment.
