Hi,
Can anyone advise roughly how long people are seeing a case officer assigned to their 309 application lodging online but to London office?
thanks
You dont see a case officer until they dont require something. We got our interview/further document requested/visa grant in 9 months. 75% applications get processed in 11 months. So you should see a conclusion in 11 months. And expect an interview in 9 months.

many congratss.. m still on the wait
Did you had your interview yet? Have you applied it through an agent or self? Worth calling or email them asking for status. The moment we sent our documents, we emailed back saying everything is updated. We got a reply back after couple of days that they will notify the case officer and we got the grant next day.

If you've only been married for 2 months and that's all you have for evidence at this stage, just go with whatever you have got. Your file most likely won't be opened for 6-8 months. Make sure to keep gathering evidence in the next 6 months and upload the updates then. By the time the case officer looks at your file, you should have a solid 6-8 months worth of financial evidence.
For Legal documents, I put my wife as beneficiary for my superannuation. I also wrote up a will with her being the main beneficiary. Those two docs should be more than enough.
Yeah we have submitted all those documents at the starting of partner visa application . We already had our interview, further documents were required. They emphasise alot on are you sending money to your wife and are you both sending gifts to each other, receipts etc.

yes , they both can write this deceleration and this needs the same details as i told u to get in written from them..
thank u for the details .. i wish i get the call soon.
"Evidence that you and/or your sponsor have been supporting each other financially" Are two months enough to show this?
"Legal commitments that you and your partner have undertaken as a couple" Do you know what this is?

any of your uncle , cousin brother or relative who attended the wedding ceremony or any family gathering (photos available) can write the decleration in which he/she has to describe that u r married since... having relationship with ur partner like... they know u guys since.. attended the events..(put all the personal details in...... ) they wish u the best in future and want to see u happy and settled along with the partner there in Australia.
Can it be my wife sister and my father (father in law to my wife)
This is what it says on the requirement document received:
Affidavit/Statutory declaration written by at least 2 persons from your cousins, relatives, friends, neighbors or colleagues in Pakistan in order to witness and support your relationship. Persons who provide these statements should state reason of how they believe in your relationship, how they are related to the applicant/sponsor and they should attach their photocopy of NIC or Passport. These statements should be attested by an oath commissioner.
And interview was from Islamabad number. It was an hour long and recorded. They asked details about the relation when did it started, when was engagement, who was present in engagement, what were the ceremonies. When was the wedding, who was in the wedding and all the ceremonies. The more detail the better. They asked about me my likes and dislikes, where do i work, whats my position, what sort of company is it. Relationship with in laws. Appearance as a couple in occasions. How are finances shared. Any gifts. These were all the questions asked from my wife. The person was looking at the pictures at the same time and writing down things and ticking things off.

So we have been asked for "Affidavit/Statutory declaration written by at least 2 persons from family members in Pakistan" Any tips or examples for this sort of document?

Ah didn't realise they'd be interviewing candidates on Australia Day :). Very unaustralian. Good luck ali.komal - hope you get your grant soon.
Well i dont think companies in pakistan would work based on australian holidays . They were interviewing on christmas days also. I am sure pakistani people would prefer eid holidays rather than christmas or australia day

very true .. as per the closed evaluation of the forum., it seems like that the expected interview call for the April application would be January.. i m also waiting for it..
my visit visa application was refused with the same reason. (economical crises or i may not come back as i may get better opportunities there as i m a professional doctor).
but i have a question that they have already called me for the interview for visit visa. m not sure if they will call again for spouse visa or not.
fingers crossed for January(inshAllah)) as its they holidays going on till 5th jan as per the Australian calendar.
do i need to call the AHC just for a reminder or to inquire i know that they have a simple slandered answer and they have the records of the calls. but still call or not?????
I don't know much about if they will call you or not, I am assuming that every visa may have a different interview or probably the interview you got was for both visit and partner visa.
I have a feeling there are different departments where application circles around. One could be verification and others can be interview etc. So your application may have landed in the interview department but after verification they rejected yours due to the reasons you mentioned.
Yeah I think it would be Jan or Feb. They have updated their processing times on their website to be 11 months minimum.
Another thing, they were just holding our visit visa application for 3 months and when I gave them a call, they said that because of Christmas we have unusually large number of applications to go through but we are actively working on it. After an hour we got our rejection for visit visa. I think it is because of my call they alerted the case officer that a person has enquired about their status. But the alert may be because of the call and the time period expiring.

It may be close to 309 grant.
Highly doubtful at this point. By looking at the posts on this forum cases of march has been granted visa or called for an interview. So probably april cases will get an interview call either in jan or feb.

For what reason your visit visa got rejected? The person may stay in Australia because of economical crisis and spouse already living in Australia.

I have also lodged my wife partner visa also. Below are the details:
Applied for: Partner Visa Subclass 309.
Date of Lodgement: 27th April 2017.
Date of Interview: Not Yet
Visa Grant: Not Yet.
Note: We applied for a visa visit couple of months back which got rejected because of stupid reasons.
Timeline (309-Spouse visa) applied in May?
