I am a new member in this very helpful and informative forum.

My concern is that I am sponsored on a 186 visa trts and also hiv+.  Ive read and it is an automatic refusal due to being hiv+ and the undue costs associated with it.  

Ive seen from one of the members in this group that he was in a same situation before and was granted a visa.  I knew my case has a slim chance of being successful but I would like to try.

I'm in touch with a MA which he claims that they had 8 successful health waiver cases in the past 2 years 6 of which are HIV related. During the same period, the have not received any refusal yet. The claim seems legit since the company is one of the big law firms that has been around for quite some time.

 

Hi arianph, I was happy to know that I had a similar case with you.  May I know whic MA did you go to for your health waiver request and did you lodge your visa on your own or through a migration agent?  Thanks.  I know this is an old thread but I appreciate if you could offer some information.
