  1. I have an agent so I just got an email from him letting me know.

As far as medical go I got mine done ages ago. I actually submitted my eoi for 189 last year. I tried to get everything sorted ready for my invite (which never came) I therefore had my medicals all ready when I got the invite for 190.

My situation and the way I have done things is not the best way to do it but things have worked out for me. Luckily!

I subitted my eoi for Queensland as soon as they opened there sponsorship in July so think I may have beat the queue.

  2. I submitted my state nomination for Queensland on a Friday ( can’t remember exact dates. It was a few weeks ago) I got my invite to apply for the visa on the following Monday. I was not expecting it that quick. I completed my application and submitted that 2 weeks later. I’m just waiting for a outcome.

    Thats was for 190 though.

  3. Yes it’s the 190. They weren’t open for 190 last year when we were looking. They opened in July in the new financial year. I don’t know how long they will be open for though. Look on Iscah forum. They put updates on there for things all the time I have found it very useful x

  4. I applied for NSW mid June with 65+5 (nurse) I have not received an invite. However Queensland opened there sponsorship. I applied there the beginning of July. Invited for nomination in 5 weeks. Submitted nomination on Friday. Invited to apply for visa Monday. Fingers crossed visa application will be in soon.

  5. Thank you for you reply. My concern is working. The criteria for state sponsorship is being off shore (which technically I am as I am only a tourist) or working in Queensland for 6 months. Does the working part not count once I’ve submitted my 190 application or would I then have to work 6 months to proceed?

  6. I am currently in Australia on a tourist visa and plan to be here for near future. I have had eoi for 189 since oct with no luck. I have applied for job sponsorship and I have been lucky enough to get one (not yet applied for the visa yet) however, I have just been invited to apply for 190 for Queensland. The problem here is to meet the criteria I can not work.

My question is, can I apply for tss sponsorship visa and 190 at the same time and also, can I then work in Queensland once my 190 visa is submitted?

Its all very confusing and don’t want to risk the 190 but could really do with working and getting an income.

    Thank you for any feedback
