I can't believe they are saying they don't have a copy for you! That's really poor on their side. We completed ours in the same year and got it fine so they really don't have an excuse. Can you ask them to write you a letter stating this? Or ask AITSL what you can do? Sorry I don't have an answer but I would really get on the unis case, they should hold general copies at least. Good luck

Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

I have asked for a generic copy and they have said they can't do that.  Aitsl said I need a letter with as much detail as possible about the course.  Fingers crossed I will have the letter by the end of the week.  Will then send my skills assessment off and fingers crossed.  Thank you for your reply. I honestly think I didn't have a transcript.

  2. I am gathering my documents for my skills assessment with AITSL.  I have everything except the transcript for my PGCE.  I have contacted the University and they do not have a copy in their archives.  They have no record of my module results.  I do have the PGCE certificate.  I qualified in 2001. So there is no way I am will have a copy!!! Help is there any way around this to get my skills assessment done?? I have contacted AITSL be reply yet.

    thank you

  3. Ok, so we discussing emigration to oz.  I have a decent chance at a 189 visa I am a maths teacher secondary school and head of maths as of September. So have decent amount of experience have also taught in Australia on a working holiday visa in 2001-2002. So here's the catch if we do emmigrate my husband would want to be the main worker-(and I would prefer that too). He is not on the skills list as he would want to  work in the water industry. He is however on there as he is a qualified plasterer (but no longer wants to do this job).  Would it be ok to get in with my qualification and then when we get out there(if we get through all the jargon etc..). He looks for work( I will only work if necessary). We have 2 young boys who will need  looking after and no family networks. But when they are both in school I will be ok to work.  Also do i need to do a Ielts test I have 75 points without it.

thanks for reading my post any advice is very much appreciated.  Sjt13
